And why is this not considered a problem?

Just because blacks are disproportionately better athletes than whites on average doesnt mean they're disproportionately better coaches.

Great athletes often arent great coaches because they focus on the physical aspect of the game moreso than the mental side.

Make white kids play baseball less? idk what else to say. It's not like they're passing over better white people to let black players play. Can't say the same about society at large, which is where I imagine you were going with that point.

peel the layers of the Onion back and see what's there

I'll assume you're acting in good faith, so let's peel some onions.

Seasons as an assistant before accepting HC job, according to wikipedia bio pages (black coaches in bold):

10 - Scottie Montgomery
11 - Willie Taggart
13 - Mike Leach
14 - Mike Gundy
14 - Mel Tucker (interim)
15 - Will Muschamp
15 - Dabo Swinney (interim)
16 - David Shaw
16 - James Franklin
16 - Dabo Swinney (permanent)
16 - Urban Meyer
17 - Mike Locksley
17 - Kirby Smart
17 - Nick Saban
18 - Tyrone Willingham
19 - Chip Kelly
20 - Derek Mason
19 - Kevin Sumlin
20 - Frank Wilson
21 - Charlie Strong (interim)
21 - Manny Diaz
21 - Ed Orgeron
21 - Les Miles
22 - Mel Tucker (permanent)
22 - Jimbo Fisher
27 - Charlie Strong (permanent)
27 - Dino Babers
30 - Sam Pittman

That's a pretty wide cross-section of coaches (young/old, black/white), and it seems the main criteria for moving up is being a great assistant, not skin color.

After all that, rarely does a Black HC get a prime job where there are fewer impediments to success than at most P5 jobs

It's rare for anyone to land a premium job, because there just aren't that many of them. Of course it's rare for a person from a group that is 13% of the population to land one of those jobs. But even though it's rare, it does happen.

Places like Notre Dame, Texas, Texas A&M, Penn St, Michigan St, Florida St, Oregon, Louisville, Stanford, Washington are great places to win. All have hired black coaches within the last 20 years.

Based on all of the information available, there does not appear to be a major issue here.

Stop listening to the bullshite that broadcasters spew when they call a game

From a FB perspective all great Athletes also focus on the mental side of the game, other than maybe Track & Field all Sports where you compete against another in a non-track way requires a ton of strategic understanding of the game as well as Athletic ability

Please stop repeating, trite, outdated, unproven bullshite

so you say that blacks are disproportionately better athletes but better athletes often don't understand the "mental side" of the game

wow

This isn't true, based on Money available, basketball and Football are the cheapest sports to play

Blacks aren't disproportionately better, they just concentrate on those 2 sports I listed above due to finances

That depends on whether he believes there is a major issue, or is doing it for PR/recruiting

Do you at least somewhat agree with my conclusion in the previous post?

You don't have to play to be a coach

Well, to a certain extent. You don't have to play in the NFL, but you do have to play college ball.

So better stats would be:
what % of people with a degree in coaching are x race/color
what % of above (each race) are able to obtain an entry level position in their field

You got a little ahead of yourself. You just need a degree in something, doesn't matter what specifically. The best stat would be: what % of NFL players have a degree? what are the racial demographics of that group? What are the application to job acceptance rates, advancement rates, etc. for various positions for the different ethnicity groups. That's gonna show you some real insight.

The NBA and NFL would loose their minds if teams had to have race demographics proportional representation

No one ever suggested this

This program is to merely expand opportunities for a group that can fill coaching Staffs as "an ace recruiter" to go in certain Areas and come back with Talented Recruits, but can't seem to get over the hump and make it all the way to HC

Personally I'd like to see more Coaching Clinics that shows up and coming Assts how to run a P5 CFB Program behind the scenes

This dude got an FBS HC gig at 40. Went 2-26 and was still able to land a P5 job a few years later

After he lost a lot of Games at an outpost Program where it is damn near impossible to win, he dropped back to a position coach, worked his way back up to Coordinator, and then got another FBS HC job based on his work as a Coordinator at a P5 Level Program

When you tell the story, tell the whole damn story and not just the part that fits your bullshite agenda(s)

Don't be an idiot. Locksley's head coaching career has been abysmal. He'd be better off worrying about winning some damn games instead of this distraction, or he'll be long gone from Maryland before Taulia ever graduates.

Look at :

JJ Watt & his brother

Kittle

The Bosa Brothers

Christian McCaffrey

And others

Those guys are more Athletic at their positions than most Black Athletes and it is all based on what they did from K-12 to develop the necessary Athletic skills
