I mean the Pats have gotten caught multiple times cheating so you might could draw some comparison there except Saban isn't getting caught. Hugh Freeze owned Saban and he liked hookers just like Robert Kraft that owns the patriots.

You're stupid even by Moo U standards.

Who has been better over such a long period of time?
National titles at two different programs. He won a conference title at a mid-major (Toledo) and made Michigan State relevant again before coming to LSU.

He's one of the most detailed oriented coaches ever and you suggest he just "shows up on Saturdays."

Bama should beat everyone by 100.
It's not a coincidence he wasnt winning everything before he got to Bama with all the 5*s. Now they win inspite him (same way Cam won inspite Chizik). Those players were going to the NFL no matter who coached them.

Yatesdog38 retarded?

His record speaks for itself. If you think he is overrated there is clearly something wrong between those ears.

He is overrated as a football coach. But he is the greatest recruiter and football CEO of all-time, and that is all it takes.

Too much "me", not enough "us" on this team and last year's team.

Bama had a bad year if that’s what you call a 10-2 team. The injury bug caught up to them, and players leaving early for the NFL had a definite impact. They will be in the hunt next year. To even ask if Saban is overrated is ridiculous.

He is the goat. Bama trajectory is headed down however. They are finally being out recruited. Tomorrow will show that.

Yea, we really aren't.

Equally recruited? Maybe, but that isn't new. Georgia/Clemson/Ohio State have been doing that for 3-4 years.

Out-recruited? Nope. You guys have seemingly just talked this into existence in your own heads.

Not sure this is a good time to flaunt that particular connection, G-man.

aamof,
Saban has to hate the dropping of that coaching special with Bill.
The timing almost felt... purposeful.

Hogwash.
Anyone would’ve given a kidney to have Coach Saban as our university’s head football coach over the past decade.

fricking this.

It's a case of too many pre madonnas, souring the locker room, yet how do you turn away a 5*?
Clempson will feel this pain sooner than later, or else Dabo is actually Dr. Manhattan.
