He is telling a half truth. Bama paid none of its players..... If people in Alabama believe that it only proves a stereotype about people from Alabama. It doesn't make it true.

I just watched the video. Takes a special kind of narcissism to admit that you have a collective that promises money to recruits while complaining about other schools having a collective that promises money to recruits.

If I understood Saban's comments,he seems way more worried about our locker room culture than Bama not having a huge talent advantage in a couple years. I would have suspected him to make only self serving comments, but boy was I wrong. He only wants fair play and the talent spread evenly. And I thought he would sell his soul to win, seems to only care about fairmess. Heart warming stuff.
