You responded by listing players that Rees never coached, a quarterback that has barely played for him, and multiple positions outside of QB/WR.
I directly responded to a post of him quoting the last 5 years. Sorry you can’t read

Jayden Thomas (#326) (fr)
Steve Angeli (#365)
1 Top 100 player at QB/WR and he was injured most of the season. Feels like it lines up. Thanks for providing the evidences.
I have no clue how Rees will be. I think he'll have more options in terms of using the whole field here than he did at Notre Dame. Time will tell if that matters or not.

I don't watch Bama but maybe 1 game per year.
Is it saban's defense? Or the DC running it?
It's definitely the DC running it. Golding did a lot of stuff different than Pruitt who did stuff different than Kirby. The DC has a wide range of authority (within the structure, obviously).

Granthams problem at Georgia was that he "cheated" to control the line of scrimmage. He didn't do it with technique or better players. He threw bodies at it. And it was great at beating a spread run game offense.
Yea I remember that, along with the wild man blitzes.
Honestly don't know what will happen, but him in any capacity as DC would be a pretty big disappointment.

You really can't handle being wrong, can you?

I guess at least you didn't disappear this time like after the Arik Gilbert conundrum.

It's because there is not much else to talk about and a number of posters on this board have nothing better to do than hang out on this site.

So how's the mushroom you've been smoking?

So you think because Notre Dame had one top 100 player compared to Illinois’s zero, that makes their QB/WR talent comparable? This is the dumbest argument, like, ever. That’s the definition of cherry picking.
Like hey, all this data here shows that Notre Dame has way better players than Illinois, and more of them, and you’re like “b-bu-but how many are top 100?” What?
I guess anyone outside the top 100 just sucks now right? Jesus Christ this is next level coping.
And if we’re talking explosive plays, why wouldn’t Mayer and Tyree count?
Tyree might be the fastest RB in football and is used as more of a receiver anyways.
Mayer has been responsible for several 25+ yard TD catches in his career.
And of course, having a great OL is necessary to develop explosive plays.
UGA started ZERO Top 100 players at WR/QB this year. Who cares about TE, OL, and RB? Poor Monken.

True or false?
In the post I where I mention ESB and Claypool, am I responding to a post from George in which he brings up WRs in the last 5 years?

The only one coping/flailing around in this thread is you. I'm just having a pretty simple football discussion about a topic that is widely accepted by pretty much everyone - Notre Dame doesn't have elite skill players - and has been discussed extensively on this board the last few years due to various ND/SEC events (2020 Alabama/ND, Kelly's hiring at LSU). It isn't new and it isn't something that has really even been argued, more just accepted as a point in a larger discussion. And the entire discussion ends with "I dunno, this guy has a wide variance of how he could for us".
As for UGA this year - Monken is the best OC in the country. And he had a stable, veteran QB for the whole season. But more importantly, he's the best OC in the country.

Major drop from what Kiffen was giving them as OC.

Sark? Kiffin hadn't been the OC in 6 years.

Maybe Auburn will hire gus malzahn back after freeze's ncaa investigation.
Grantham is built perfectly for that scheme.

And you’re using terrible arguments to support it.
You just threw out a really shitty comparison and are mad you can’t defend it. Would you rather have two
4-star WRs or five 4-star WRs? Lol

I'd rather have 10 of the 14 SEC programs current WR/QB rooms than Notre Dames (I'd take them over Auburn, Vandy, State, Florida).

I completely agree. But that’s a lot different from comparing them to Illinois.

But that’s not what you said….
And I certainly never said anything about SEC teams
Seems like you’re the one struggling to admit you were wrong.

Would you prefer Michigan State? Nebraska?
It's pretty clear what the general comparative was - non-elite B1G program. The comparison was not specifically Illinois or Iowa or Minnesota.

I mean, again, you seem like a solid dude but sometimes you are just kind of a shithead who isn't enjoyable to converse with.
