Cleveland might not win another game. Ouch. Terrible for Chubb.

I hope he heals quickly and fully. I’ve heard he has a good business head on him so I hope he, his kids, and his kids’ kids are set for life.

Minkah’s knee literally gave out as he was going to tackle and he went down. He didn’t go low on purpose. He also got hurt on the play.

He didn't mean to sling down low at Chubb's knee ? He just kinda' fell into it ? Like every man caught in a motel ? Honey, I just fell into this - no idea how I even got here ?

Come on.

Are we talking a Tyrone Prothro or Marcus Lattimore type of injury?

Similar to Chubb's injury he had @ UGA which is more the Lattimore or Willis McGahee type.
.
Same knee too.

There is going to nerve and vascular damage with an injury that bad. I watched the replay before realizing what it was and it sickening. I am not sure you get a functioning knee back from that. But Chubb is a great man and will fill his post-career with purpose.

Yeah it looks like a career ender. Pretty awful. Sometimes a hit comes in just right on that outside part of the knee and there’s just no resistance at that angle. It doesn’t take much.

You know, if I'm walking across the beach with a six pack, or lets say a certain amount of whatever chemical certain ladies of my age find intoxicating, I still wouldn't want any of them to flop at me sideways on my knee the way Fitzpatrick just did to Chubb.

And that includes Salma Hayek. Don't do to my knee that particular thing. Even in your bikini. Just don't.

Yep Lattimore and McGahee are the two CFB knee injuries that stick out in my mind (I don't watch much NFL). Saw both and don't want to see any more.

Prothro at Bama had a nasty shin break when he landed after jumping for a catch. It was very nasty as well.

It was an awful injury. But the league has dictated this. You can’t hit a ball carrier above the chest/shoulders. What did they think would happen?

As they have made these changes, more and more players and former players have been screaming about how many more knee injuries there will be.

No hits below the waist

On defense you are generally reading the offense and reacting to a player who is already at full speed while you may have a couple of steps of momentum.

If you try to tackle Nick Chubb high he is trucking your arse into free agency.

Prayers up for Nick Chubb. Just a super physical RB, he took it to Mizzou back in the day. The physicality these players exert and absorb is remarkable and sometimes devastating. I know we all talk a lot of shite on this board, but at the end of the day we are all a bunch of like minded people who love our schools and teams, and most importantly love the sport. Just horrible.

3 - The biggy. No hits below the waist. Either on the line during blocks, or tackles. This one would change the game. I think for the better.

Wendell Davis - WR Bears
Blew both knees out on a play & ended his career.
