weak schedule just like this year, when they weren't prepared for a prolific offense and got blown out in the SEC title game.
Didn’t matter in the NC where our superior player development shined through. Bama proved to be the “shell” of a great team. When you dig a little deeper they lacked the players/depth to win it all.

Nice being in SEC east not having to play Alabama, LSU. Texas A&M, Ole Miss.

Ahh, the annual UK over UGA posts starting early this year I see.

West will be a cakewalk for Bama just like it was in '18 and '20
A&M didn't even finish in the top 25,LSU is a dumpster fire and OM lost Corral along with a lot of other senior starters.

we beat alabama for the title game and LSu has been straight garbage the last few years. Ole miss and A&M had as many combined losses last season alone as UGA has had in the last 4.

Only if we get to pistol whip the west champ in the natty after.

Aren’t you the guy that said Mullen was a better coach than smart and he would take over the East?

Clarify???
No offensive options. An average QB (that was protected by a D that’s gone) or a guy that hasn’t taken a meaningful snap. No WRs, best O player is a TE that will not surprise anyone. Both RBs are gone, 2/3 of the Oline is gone. Yes you have highly rated guys stepping in and that will help over the next couple years but expect UGAs O to be anemic at best. And that’s before you look at the losses off the D. Between declaring, out of eligibility, and transfers no aspect of the UGA 2 deep will resemble this years squad. And the teams on the schedule did not remain stagnant. UGA could have a great year next year with 2-3 losses.
UGA isn’t Bama, despite great recruiting they don’t manage a roster or playing time very well. That’s why it would be a huge surprise if they can reload at this point.

UGA returns most of their offense that was third in points per drive last season.

Besides year 1, Smart has finished top 8 or better every year. What SEC East team has a realistic shot of doing better?

he's not a heisman candidate but he's not the scrub people want him to be.

No WRs,
Going into 2021 I'm sure people would say "pickens then nobody" yet we did just fine.

after about week 3 he wasn't a surprise to anyone, that didn't matter

when was the last time UGA struggled at the position? Mcintosh and Milton are very good, they were simply behind zamir and cook. They'll be fine.

2/3 of the Oline is gone
uh, what? Tate Ratledge started the year at RG and was lsot for the year in game 1, so having him back is a net return at guard. Starting RT is back. Brod Jones played a ton at LT including most of the natty and he's back. As is the center.

This sure is an ignorant trop that continues to make it's rounds around the Rant. (Gee, I wonder why?)
In the National title game we had TD drives of 80 yards,62 yards and 75 yards against a defense that many trumpeted to be the hottest in the country. We also had a drive that went for 75 yards that ended in a FG.
So, to insinuate that our offenses was weak seems rather counterintuitive.
quote:You mean 2/5 do you not?
2/3 of the Oline is gone
Broderick Jones who played a ton and came in in the National Championship game returns, Tate Ratledge returns, Van-Pran-Granger returns, and Warren Ericson returns.
quote:Who do you think is on our scheduel that will make it tougher than last season?
And the teams on the schedule did not remain stagnant.

and Kearis Jackson (dinged up this year)
Meanwhile Alabama put receivers in when their top two went down and they were dropping balls everywhere because they did not get plentiful playing time.
Explain how we don't manage our roster very well. I am genuinely curious.
quote:Then get ready to be surprised. With our schedule 11-1 is expected. Less than that will be disappointing. We won't be on Alabama's level next year. They were very young. But
That’s why it would be a huge surprise if they can reload at this point.
if you think we are going to fall back very far you are mistaken.
I get it. You troll Georgia continuously. We've missed you on the board since the National Championship game, btw.

It's almost like he is an expert without really knowing what he is talking about, isn't it?

Every year GA has the easiest path to the SECCG. The only other team in the nation that has an easier path to a champ game is Clemson.

it's almost like we've assembled such a good team that we are simply much better than everyone else in our division + AU.
