Bama doesn’t have those.

UGA was everyone's preseason pick!

No. 3rd Behind bama and Clemson, and that was with a whole bunch of key players who didn’t get to play all that much.

The west has been better for many years at this point. Still, for all the talk of an insurmountable west and a Lilliputian east, there’s rarely a west champ outside of Tuscaloosa. 7 of the last 10 division championships. And 2 of the 3 second place finishes were by virtue of tiebreakers. It seems if the west were as rough and tumble as most say, there’d be a little more parity at the top.

was due to a rematch (you know my take on non conference winners in playoffs) and a weak, down, across the board rebuilding/imploding by opponents. The stars lined up and UGA was give a title shot. Enjoy it. It took massive luck that is likely to happen again anytime soon. You were fortunate. Don’t let it go to your head

You never were the type to admit you were wrong, or give credit where it is due, but this 2021 load of BS takes the cake.

We overcame a ton of adversity by doing everything you said we couldn’t do.

Just about everything you said preseason about uga was proven wrong, hence the national title, so it’s really dumb for you to continue cling to it all.

Same ol Smokeyone, am I right?

The point is about your 2022 schedule. It’s about as weak as it gets.

Look up the word “rarely” Mac. Sad you don’t understand that word at your age.

you mean one of the 4 or 5 best teams that's ever been fielded in CFB beat an injured UGA team with james coley calling plays?

stop the presses!

Bama fans believe they’re the only team to ever deal with injuries.

Every season is different. No season is a continuation of the previous, especially for national championship winners. Factors like injuries, disciplinary issues, and/or luck with how the ball bounces can change things significantly. Some opponents can improve significantly. Being in contention two years in a row, much less winning it all again, is extremely difficult.

It’s much more of an indictment of Tennessee that they haven’t been to Atlanta in roughly 15 years or won the SEC in 24 years than the 24 year NC drought. The SECC drought is now longer than Georgia’s time in the wilderness from 82-02.

We earned it in 2021 as there weren’t 4 better or more deserving teams.
