Most of the LSU fan base turned on Woodward before the Kelly debacle because he cowered to the NCAA previously. We didn’t do anything wrong here. The people would rather the fight. No chance.

This is a fair enough opinion. it certainly might. none of the SEC's reaction has made sense from the start so no reason to believe cooler heads will prevail now.

For what misconduct? Multiple other SEC teams recruited those guys. LSU wasn’t even party to the TRO in connection with the players.
Here’s what’s gonna happen…. The SEC will end up paying all of the ‘22 players that can prove recruitment by SEC schools the equivalent of their earnings last season, plus interest and attorney fees. If the SEC enforces any sanctions against LSU, it will be subjected to a very large class action lawsuit. If the SEC boots LSU, it will be subjected to a $1 Billion + class action lawsuit.
If the SEC doesn’t make this go away, it’s going out of business. The court system will not allow arbitrary and capricious action that severely impacts the pocketbooks of players, donors, and the general public.
