UConn shut down its football program for the 2020 season due to the pandemic. Because of that, the New York Times feels the Huskies are the real champion. You can't make this chit up.

Yeah, they shut down because they suck arse. They aren't in a conference and were going to have a hard time putting a schedule together. Unlike teams in a conference they have no TV deal and were going to lose major money on a sport nobody at their school gives a shite about. Horrible journalism as it was very disingenuous. Surprise, surprise.
