This will only invent a new way of cheating. The difference is the rich schools and in the game and the schools who cheated will have to find some money.

USC and A&M can write the checks that will not bounce and that is what it is all about. Look for the cheating schools to call foul because they still can not keep up.

A&M can’t buy as many elite players as Texas and USC can.

If regulations fall to the conferences and A&M doesn’t agree with the rest of the SEC institutions then A&M will probably be booted out of the conference. 3/4 vote would be easy.

If A&M was booted. They would sue and win.

It’s a new era. You don’t rule the world anymore.

Sorry.

They can’t make regulations that are illegal. If A&M was booted for not agreeing to illegal regulations the SEC would be sued for billions and would lose.

Yeah. Probably.

A damn shame what A&M did to all of these sec schools who have historically just tried to play by the rules.

That may or may not be. It depends on how the NCAA sanctions the school. The fact it may harm the booster’s business isn’t enough to constitute tortuous interference. They have to prove intent to interfere, not simply that it resulted from sanctions against the school. The NCAA could still sanction the school and the fact that a booster suffers harm indirectly will not give rise to tortious interference, even if the NCAA knows that may result in harm to the booster’s interests.

I think Saban really does run the NCAA. How about that?

Imagine thinking anyone is scared of Aggy. It’s just funny that you losers thought you’d finally be able to buy a title.

As been noted by so many already, the courts decided that players can market their name and image with legitimate businesses, not that boosters can buy players

So the question is......which deals does the ncaa view as egregious.

I figure. USC and Caleb Williams and Addison
TexASS and their collectives
Aggie just for the number of 5 stars they bought....

You know how easy it is to form an LLC and make it appear to be a legitimate business? We can’t take down the cartel but the NCAA is going to bring down the Ags. Yeah.

I’ll have what your drinking.

Also as already noted, if the 8&4feit boosters did it within NIL regulations, why are you so against NIL regulations?

This is like gambling being legal. Then, changing the law to make it illegal. Then saying "why are you so against outlawing gambling"?

Bad analogy.

More like saying casino gambling is now legal. Ok, gambling is still legal but we are going to go back and enforce no dog fights because that’s not what we meant by casino gambling is now legal. And then saying “why are you so against dog fighting?”

But you’re pissed because you took “legal casino gambling” to mean you could take every barn and build a fighting pit and name them casinos.
