The win over Kentucky was not that impressive. Not sure why Gator fans are trying to bang this drum.

I mean, we won by 24 points on a down game.

Don't look now, they have just as many wins as LSU does.

Ahh . . qualifiers and excuses.

Win out and beat Bama and you are in. If we win out and you all lose to Bama you are playing in a tier two bowl.

All other gum flapping is a waste of time.

Teams change as the year goes on, they improve and look better.

Texas A&M beat us as the home team by three points after a fumble recovery. If they had just dragged us all over the field it might have been different in the eyes of the coaches. Auburn destroyed LSU, LSU barely beat an okay Arkansas team.

And once again Texas A&M beat a pretty bad LSU team at home by only two touchdowns. Even when we sleepwalk we're still beating teams by three possessions.

So people think if we played on a neutral field, Florida probably wins.

That doesn't seem so crazy to me.

A&M is better than Florida at, literally, every position/position group except QB and pass catchers. Now having a better QB certainly makes up for a lot, but A&M has a much better OL, running game and defense. And as previously mentioned won the H2H and beat Florida by nearly every statistical measure in that game.

Florida certainly has a better QB, but there's really no sound argument for Florida being a better team than A&M at this point. The gap between the two defenses is larger in A&M's favor than the gap between the two offenses.

We have beaten every single team since Georgia by more points than you beat a completely obliterated A&M team last night.

I'm sorry, you guys should have played every game as hard as you played against Florida.

AH, you mean the reason we have over 1,000 total yards than you?

A&M has 158 first downs on the year.

Our passing offense alone has 131.

We are significantly better than you on offense, even rushing you guys are only about 100 yards ahead of us, which, given the differences in our offense is significant.

If we played again next Saturday on a neutral field, Florida probably wins.

I can 100% definitively say that there is no way that you can simply say: "We would beat Florida 10/10 times if they played", which is what the committee looks at, not whatever your cum-dribbling lips whispers into the monitor as you watch us go to the SEC CG.

Of course we wouldn’t beat Florida 10/10 times. I do think we’d win 5 or 6, and we won the only one that matters.

A&M is a poor matchup for Florida because we have an offensive style that can help neutralize their offense by limiting the number of snaps, Florida has very small front 7 by SEC standards and struggles with power run concepts and A&M gets teams off the field on third down defensively. Everything they did to beat Florida the first time is consistently reproducible.

And if we win out and you lose to Bama, it won’t matter that you played in the conference titles game. You’ll be watching us in the playoff, no matter how many TDs Trask throws for against garbage SEC East teams.

Is that really all it would take?

Seems to me that Clemson will have on spot locked up if the beat ND and I am not sure ND would drop out of the final four.

Do you think Ohio State will not have enough games to be in?

The SEC East has had the better defenses in the last 2 years. Trask has played 4 of the top 6 defenses in the SEC this year, and even in a loss to A&M threw for 300+ with 4 TDs despite UF not being able to get off the field on defense.

A&M beat UF, but you guys have some serious butthurt bringing this shite up every god damn week.

UF literally is ranked above A&M in the Coaches Poll by 1 fricking vote

That's how you guys behave when you say things like: We should be ranked ahead of Florida for sure since we beat them in the beginning of the year by a last second field goal at home.

Campbell makes a difference, and he was missing for A&M.

w/o Campbell (averages per game): 164 yards rushing, 78.3 plays a game, 28.7 first downs.

w/ Campbell (omitting Arkansas for yards only, most of their yards came in the 4th when our second string was in): 112.75, 60.4 plays a game, 16.4 first downs.

I'd love for us to play again, but you guys won't be in the SEC CG so I guess we'll just have to leave it up to the voters who like Florida more.

Saying we won the H2H is not the same as saying we would 10/10 times, and the vast majority of opinions I have seen would say it would probably not be more than 6-4 or 7-3 either way.

On the other hand, I keep seeing these posts saying we ONLY won because of a last minute fumble, completely ignoring the TD Florida had just scored off an A&M fumble a few minutes before AND the 140-odd yards more offense A&M had.

It's amazing how butt-hurt some people are being about this. I have no problem with someone saying that if we played 10 more times, Florida would win more than A&M would. I think differently, but there is no way to know.

Again, I think they are two very even teams, albeit with different personalities. In such a case, H2H is the tie-breaker.
