You think I don't understand this fact? We all know sexual crimes are inherently wrong. This isn't some amazing philosophical epiphany you are preaching to us. We get it.
It is the fact that so many in this thread are calling for Sexual Assault charges and Sex Offender registry placement when this guy's crime warrants neither. Like I said, you guys are getting way to emotional over this issue.
And honestly, if this wouldn't involve LSU and Bama, I highly doubt it would have been seen as a big deal.

This is a whole, separate issue. And you know it. Using this to support your argument is pathetic. For the record, if you must include this issue, I, too, find it disgusting that our soldiers are mutilated and placed on public display like trophies and no spectacle is made of it; yet, our media condemns and berates our soldiers barbaric-like actions that are minor in comparison. However, that is the difference between a third-world, backward society and an advanced, forward-thinking, morally-superior culture.
Both of my grandfathers fought in the military; specifically, WWII, the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Do not attempt to use the military as a mask.
If you prefer to live in an eye-for-an-eye world, there are plenty left for your choosing. Africa and the Middle East tend to be hotspots for such thinking.
