Sheyer is 38ish and took over for the GOAT and went to elite 8 last year and final 4 this year.
Golden at UF is 39 and been there 3 years and has them in the final 4.
These may be the cup bearers for their respective conferences for the foreseeable future. You have to admire what they have done whether you are a fan of those schools.
Any other coaches under 40 come to mind?

You were right. That was fun.

Honestly, I was shocked the whistle seemed decently balanced. Probably due to us being down big most of the game.
Duke was just better, and this was expected by those of us that know basketball. It got a little worse towards the end than I expected, but I posted this morning that I’d take Duke to cover if forced. They’re a really bad matchup for us
Listening to Jay Wright break down the game in the pregame show...I knew it was gonna be tough day for Bama

These two are not the same. Scheyer walked into a goldmine. Golden has had to rebuild a middle of the road program that was plodding along under Mike White.

Will Wade was 38 when he was the winningest five year coach in the SEC…
BRB going to get a good cry in this morning

One wonders what could have been had Wrightsell not gotten dinged against OU.
I don't think that makes any difference.

Losing one of your most important pieces before conference play even began could have made a big difference, imo.

taking over for a GOAT is always a let down. Year two and he had them in elite 8

Eh, he can hit open threes, just like the rest of em. He's a tank, no doubt, and likes to get dirty playing defense, but he's not necessarily a huge step up from what we had out there last night, imo. We had a cold night shooting because of Duke's size and because the offense is somewhat one dimensional (esp against NBA talent at most positions), not because it was a cold night of shooting.

Golden doesn’t have the media recruiting for him either. The Duke fawning is sickening.

OK Vols, I have you beating Houston in my bracket, so don't let me down!

Big D, can we start a new thread for today's games?
