I thought UT appealed the suspension and got it dropped from 3 games to 2 games...meaning that he can miss playing Furman and Kennesaw State, but still be on the field against Georgia Tech, and Texas won't be his first action of the season.

The NCAA long ago lost any moral benchmark. They'll let some teams and their players get away with major infractions, where players benefited lucratively, and then they'll do things like this, suspending players over a small amount that the player already paid back. It's time to end the monopoly and stop the NCAA from profiting off the players.
