What utter crap! This is off the field targeting. The NCAA doesn't like UT beating them in court, so they take it out on players whenever they get a chance.

So I'm clear, if Carter had paid for it initially it would be fine? But because his agent paid and then he repaid it's an issue?

Did that with Joey Aguilar and it didn’t work. Probably the only court case that the NCAA had won in the last five years.

This is dumb. Just play him they have no teeth. With all the money floating around and all the pro players they allow to play nowadays this is where they decide to act? I don’t care who’s team he’s on the NCAA is rudderless and that caused the demise of amateur sports as we knew them

If we play him, they will try to make us forfeit the games. Our only option is to take them to court.

Is he a senior? If you take them to court it will drag out past season. In meantime he’ll get a ruling he can play until they decide. After season they’ll drop the case
