I finally made it out to the lake again this weekend. the water is warming up since the last time in march. It's funny how cocktail cove is a ghost town now. It's our new chill spot

Well this was positive information and thanks for the bump.... What rock have you been under... Sure the haters will continue to hate, but they know that they are full of $hit.... I wanted to post it before some BAMMER posted it with a negative spin...

The BAMMER forum poster and/or sports radio caller would have you believe that Cam shouldn't have been eligible and that there is a hard fast SEC rule. But Slive has not done that for any athlete who has either solicited funds or actually received benefits; including Julio and Ingram (Boat Trip), Jerrell Harris (Laptop), and Dareus (Agent Trip)... I am sure there are examples at other schools where players received some benefit, paid it back, and continued to play. Can you find an example of Slive ever ruling a player ineligible from SEC compition?
Don't think they played while ineligible though. Cam would have since he didn't miss a single game.

Meh, I am still not all that excited about Sunset Cove. It's not the same. Doesn't mean I wont be there though. We usualy chill out somewhere first, then head over there for the party

I like Sunset because it's more of a little older, more chill crowd than Cocktail.

No, they were suspended games by the rule. NCAA didn't drop the ball where they were concerned and a proper investigation was done by the school and submitted to the NCAA. Something that didn't happen in Cam's case. As soon as there was any question about eligibility, they were sat until all the information was gathered and scrutinized, unlike Au and Cam.

The fish are eating right now. We have had 10 spotted bass over 5 pounds over the past two weeks. I cant count how many we have had over 4. Today we had 24 pounds of spots on our best 5. It it crazy when you get that swimbait in the right place...

Will you teach me the ways of " Hunter?"

So does this pretty much sum up the NCAA's stance on Cam at this point?
"Football is fun. It is played by 11 players. With 11 other players on the field on the other team. There is a kind of weird ball, wrapped in leather, that is a football. That's why football is called pigskin. Cam Newton was a football player. He played football at Auburn. Auburn is in the SEC. The SEC is good at football. Auburn needed Cam to be good at football in the SEC. Auburn got Cam and was good at football. How Auburn got Cam, who was good at football, we do not know."
Because that's pretty much what I'm taking it as.
Which I'm okay with.

Exactly most schools actually have to follow the proper protocol with the NCAA or face severe consequences. Alabama players missed games and the team/program was essentially punished for its cooperation with the NCAA. Same could be said for Boise State. In football and other major sports they were rewarded with their above board compliance and cooperation with an LOIC charge against the whole athletic program due to a tennis coach's misdeed. The penalty was punitive against the whole athletic department.
Ohio State and Auburn on the other hand gamed the system and spit into the face of the NCAA and said frick you and your protocol. Both programs have seemingly been rewarded for their arrogance. This is the fricked up bizarro world the putrid cesspool of digusting corruption the NCAA operates in nowdays. Nothing that evil organization does suprises me anymore.
