I think it could be beneficial. Gives Rothrock a chance to regroup mentally. And gives the coaching staff some time to go over the gameplan to attack Canady.

Yeah Mia's mom ran track at UF, so she is an alumnus too, making it all very bizarre to me. There was also some scuttlebutt that Mia was miffed about not getting to play shortstop, but I cannot verify that. Walton did continue to start Mia at 2nd base her freshman year even while Gator fans clamored for her benching. She was hitting less than .200 and making a lot of errors.

Mia had plenty of opportunity to move and not get hit. She wanted to get hit so she could get on base.
