It's definitely an advantage, but they've clearly been the best team in college golf all season long. They are a very deserving national champion.

Not sure I would say the same thing about Oregon two years ago, but this year, I think the result is fine.

Still much easier to play this well at your home course when you know the course, the greens, etc.

and sleeping in your own bed. Golf is as mental as it is skill.

I want to play this course now, from the tips... just to see how I would do.

It's public, right?

I hope Rickie Fowler rubs this in Justin Thomas's face for weeks.

Okie State is a very deserving champion, but yes... clear advantage on the home course.

I don't know if there is any way around it tho.

That 7 in a Row got you down sport...it is only going to get worse going forward for you..

Salute to the OSU Cowboyz......they good.

Playing for the NC 4 of the past 7 years with 2 NC's is pretty good. Give the other guy credit when they kick your azz.

Coach Bryant....“It’s awfully important to win with humility. It’s also important to lose. I hate to lose worse than anyone, but if you never lose you won’t know how to act. If you lose with humility, then you can come back.”

You can get on it. I’d guess you’d put up a hi 80’s or low 90’s from tips, tough course.

No idea what u’d score on B90:

Got to give them credit even if it is their home course. They beat A&M, Auburn and Bama to win it.

I'd love to see how well Alabama would do if they played the entire playoffs in Bryant-Denny ;p

So this is the second time in 3 years that the “host” school won the title. I think the NCAA needs to look at this hard. Golf is the one sport where homefield means the most. I mean if the baskettball tourney got away from this years ago why not all sports.

"public" in that anyone can play, though if you don't play with a member it's $350 vs $150 with a member ... it's a top 20 public course, though it IS located in oklahoma ...

No kidding. OSU is the best team and they would’ve beaten Bama anywhere but it’s just crazy to me that with all of the quality courses in this country that they pick a team’s home course. OSU had crowds out there supporting them.

Those were HUGEGreens.

Cowboys were the best team.

Playing at home was helpful, but they went to Columbus for regional and had to perform well over 4 rounds of medal and 3 rounds of match play.

They earned it.

It won't matter next year. Arkansas is hosting at Blessings Golf Club.
