This, 1000%. It seems to be worse this year than most. Even Oats in his press conference yesterday said that he expected a tighter whistle in the tourney than SEC and that we wouldn’t have to adjust as much as some other physical SEC teams. I have to think they may tighten the whistle some as games go on and there are fewer back to back games in the TV window, but the lack of foul calls has been surprising.
I remember the Villanova/UNC championship game that was absolutely majestic basketball. The refs allowing CBB to turn into a wrestling match with a ball is disappointing in my book. Takes away from the good of the game and allows less skilled teams to just out foul another team to a win
