Who said I'm upset? Just a neutral observer giving my perspective.

There would be no granting of redshirts or waivers in order to receive additional years, except in extraordinary circumstances.

This is where they’re going to trip on their dicks again

So... I propose the following to keep class designations straight....

Freshman
Sophomore
Junior
Senior
Chambliss-Senior

Look it's not about Pavia. It was that Kangaroo Court Crap that you guys pulled. After that the NCAA said enough is enough.
When they gave a kid his 9th year of eligibility just before saying no to Chambliss, at that point they deserved to have a court overrule them. They’re not a victim

Coming to say this. HE gets a 9th year why Owen Heinecke gets denied because he played all of 15 total minutes of Lacrosse at Ohio State .

Then it became 6 to play 4, with one grey and redshirt. Oldest kid was 23 ish

6 to play 4 is plenty generous. It can account for both a Freshman Grey Shirt year, and an additional year for Injury Redshirt. I think doing that and allowing a single transfer without losing eligibility is fine. I think with more than 1 transfer, sitting a year is acceptable. There may be some wiggle room for FCS to FBS transfers...but I'm still on the fence about that.

We can officially call this the Chamblis rule.
Yeah definitely not the Pavia rule or whatever kid just got his 9th year of eligibility

He must have hit a nerve. It is 100% the Chamblis rule $$$$$$$

Until the university’s as a group give the NCAA their balls back by way of anti trust laws or something it’s all talk. But this is a nice step

When they say except for extraordinary services then they messed up. What is extraordinary? Guess what…some
Judge will end up deciding. Transfers are what they are now because of waivers. If they are going here it should be 5 for 5. No appeals. People in charge are too gutless and woke for this. Why we are where we are. Chicks will make decisions on emotion…and so will men who think like chicks.

Part of the problem why the NCAA fails, and it was on display in the Chambliss case, is that they can't be reasonably consistent in their rulings.

Not granting a medical redshirt to a backup QB because he got sick? These redshirts were for injuries that took a guy out for the year, it was never supposed to be for a guy who was under the weather. Chambliss only won because he had Ole Miss judges who are basically cheering for him in court.

Maternity leave? I already see this as the greatest exception that ever existed for the SEC? Y’all will be back on top soon with that one. Exceptions are a joke.
Alabama is currently floating the idea of a parole year.
