Players should all be punished when they break the rules unless they play for lSU. Then they should get a stern pat on the bottom and told not to do it again, and to really show them, maybe a team vote.

actually, people are saying he should be suspended 1 year, not 2. but if that's the conclusion you've come to, you lack the ability to comprehend the actual argument being raised.

Shall I go through the thread and show you how many LSU fans have gone on tangent that had nothing to do with how stupid the rule is except that their CB won't be able to play?

Yes.

People around Lsu are saying that Fulton is better than Greedy. Hopefully he gets credit for time served because taking 2 years from a college player who has 5 years of eligibility at the most is absurd.

man, please!..why would the kid tamper with his test if he knew it was clean?...like turning a bank robber loose because there happened to be no money in the bank at the time.

I personally feel the punishment is just. With the exception of being two years instead of one. However, he wasn't told what he was being tested for. The NCAA was testing for PED and Fulton thought they were also testing for weed. Not better by any means, but another former AA Cornerback also got in trouble that day.

He's now at Alabama. He ran to JUCO and avoided punishment altogether. I wonder what he tested positive for or what he thought he would test positive for?

Fulton is a game changer.

Kid made a mistake period.

If Simmons at State can play, then so should Fulton.

Fulton plays, LSU starts 2 five star quality CBs.

For the 2nd time: Because he thought it was testing for every drug, not just PEDs, it was just testing for PEDs, which he was fine for. He thought he might fail because he smoked some weed not long before it.

This is golden shite right here. he shouldn't be punished because he was caught trying to cheat the test and therefore didn't take the test? Are you seriously legitimizing this with this argument???
It should be WORSE if he is caught tampering. If not, everybody will try to tamper if it's a slap on the wrist. He's lucky he gets to ever play again at all.

Also, whenever Bama has a player caught with weed you guys go through the roof if he's not suspended. Now it's ok because it was "just a little weed"?? BTW, you didn't suspend him, the NCAA did.

LSU plays by no different rules than anybody else. IF you were the upstanding school you claim to be, you would have run his arse out of Baton Rouge on a rail. Not because of the weed but for trying to cheat a test.

Bama is actually the last team that should be throwing shade on this. There was a second player that did this and he fled to JUCO to avoid punishment. Perhaps you can piece it together.

Man I get your your point and I agree that he probably should serve his suspension time. With that being said, the NCAA has no punishment for the likes of recent allegation with UF players toting high caliber guns, domestic issues involving players across the conference, and lastly player failing random tests given by the institution that go unmonitored by the NCAA without any penalty. Look at our very own Tyrann Marhuie, dude fails like 17 reported test but was allowed to play because the NCAA or SEC was not involved in the testing. This is lame on the NCAA trying to set a president to look as if they are really honorable.

Life is always fair.

Talk about dumb. had it been an Alabama player you would be screaming he should be kicked out of college football.
