No fans at all is unlikely but it will definitely be different. Even Texas A and M is acknowledging that it will be different, just how different is anyone’s guess but here is another article referencing it

No fans makes no sense. No reason you can let in half or 1/3 capacity

So damn stupid. The average age of death is older than the average age people normally live? So maybe don’t bring grandma and grandpa to a game this year. Stadiums should be full otherwise

But how do you decide what 60k to tell they can’t come? You gonna yell students they aren’t allowed to attend games for their own university? Will you tell 6 figure donors they can go to games but that they may have to sit in the 300 levels to adhere to social distancing guidelines?

Yep, the average age of deaths due to Covid-19 in the U.S. has been 77. The normal death rate of that age group is about 12% which is higher than the 5% death rate from the virus if you only count confirmed cases.
Meanwhile the average age of the H1V1 victims in 2009 was 40 and over 1800 children died from the Swine Flu yet there was no school closings or shutdowns in general. 12 children have died from Covid-19 so far based on CDC data: LINK
Translation: the response to Covid-19 has made zero sense. It's the first time in the history of the U.S. that healthy people have quarantined instead of focus on isolation of sick or at risk people.

Nearly 100k Americans have died in the two months they have been tracking Covid deaths in the US with mitigation, of course the average death of someone dying from a flu like virus is going to be relatively older or with pre-existing conditions. Those are the individuals who are most vulnerable to any virus not just Covid but that doesn’t mean people under the age of 77 aren’t vulnerable to it. Of the nearly 100k Americans that have died, almost 30k have been under age 60. I feel sorry for people who have died or lost their jobs not someone who can’t go to a football game

Almost all Ticketing is computerized, simply adapt the software to sell Tix on every other row and 2 seats in between on those rows that are available for sale

Better to have partial crowds than no crowd at all, then use security & ushers to make sure those Fans that do enter the Stadium adhere to those rules or get booted

The zero fans idea is lazy & stupid IMO

bullshite. There is a difference between dying because of the virus and dying with the virus in your system.

No clue what the real numbers are, but I know the official numbers are bullshite.

That picture is crazy...
Oh well life moves on and new solutions...

I am guessing ( no real idea) that they let players parents in and families spread out

Some of the band (hopefully all) but spread out every other seat or two

Students in assigned seating throughout the stadium every other row empty and seats spread..

Big money in the boxes and stadium club set up similar to a restaurant...

And for us regular season ticket holders they ask who wants to go and a lot say not this year then the take a small percent of them based on points and spread them out...

I have four season tickets ...but I suspect I will be out of luck;( guessing my b-ball and gymnastics season tickets are shot also..

sucks but they will do the best they can and we will have stories to tell and for some of y’all that live to bi@@ you will have lots to talk about for a few months..

That should be entertaining:)

Those are precisely some of the contingency plans they are making now.

What conspiracy theory? It's exactly how they count the numbers. They find someone dead, they test them for it, and if they have it they just assume it's covid. And even then they don't even always test. they just assume it's Covid. 20% of New Yorks deaths were like that, who knows how many others.

And then there is the whole preexisting conditions part.

A car is hanging off the edge of a cliff. It's balanced and maintaining. A bird comes and lands on the edge of the car, and then the car falls off the cliff.

Only a fool would claim the bird was the cause of the car falling off the cliff because it is ignoring all the preexisting conditions that made up the overwhelming bulk of the cause.

Bird lands on a car without all those preexisting conditions, nothing happens. Kind of like Covid. Someone without preexisting conditions gets it, they are fine.

Yet for some reason, people like you want to pretend like the bird is dangerous to every car, as if the preexisting conditions didn't matter.

"We can't drive until all the birds are dead" would be a dumb response. And so is this notion that everyone is at equal risk and should be treated equally.

At this point - if you are high risk, then stay the frick at home. Meanwhile everyone else can go about their lives, maybe get it, become immune to it and let it run it's course. Then the high risk people will have less to worry about.

All we are doing is dragging it out and making it more dangerous for at risk people.

So seriously, frick people who can't use common sense about it at this point. The excuses have run out.
