It was meant to be sarcastic.. you noticed I included the other two products very hard to grow in the United States.. beef and tomatoes

Guess my old man humor missed

Directed at the guys arguing we are only removing tariffs from stuff unable to grow in us..

As mentioned in follow up.. been to the plantations in Kona… tasty but not that large..
lol… pretty good coffee also…
Been to a few of the coffee plantations on the big island ( Kona) ..and fwiw .. they also have bananas!!!
Usually can buy some of those little bananas when visiting the coffee plantations because grown on same land/area.. little bananas are tasty .
food imports, including beef, ?tomatoes, coffee and bananas, from sweeping tariffs imposed earlier this year

I know we can not grow stinkin coffee..

re: Costco>Sams

In general Costco is better.. but if you want bulk things like name brand candy.. gum.. life savers.. gotta go to Sam’s .. sams offers a little difference in pre made food stuff so you get variety if you go to both. I get my steaks from Sam’s .. we buy their fillets and I think Sam’s beef in general is better..

Both have the same “ every trip is a surprise” marketing concept where they will have end of aisle special items that run for a few weeks and are some name brand item at a discount ..both offer decent clothing deals .. Costco may be jack Nicholas pants.. Sam’s banana republic..

We use them both along with Albertsons and Walmart .. depends
Do not have a pic.. but have seen them.. nice.. dunking mike !
Guess you have not made a women’s bball game.. they are packed.. fans on their feet.. lots of fan reaction to refs etc..

But stay home and wash your hair instead .

Guess I will have a taco salad for lunch .
I never understand why this is not an option.. however I would have him selling corn dogs at the athletic events.

May be a demotion clause option in his contract that allows him to trigger a severance ( payout) clause ??? We had them in a buyout contract when a big company bought our smaller company.

That reduction depends what interest rate he uses in his net present calculations ..

We want him to use average return in stock market for last ten years.. he wants to use cost of living index or average bank saving interest over last ten years..

The government usually sets out guidelines for it. Big oil does this all the time to buy out retirement annuities.

And we want a little relief by not making him look for a job.. but realistically just telling your agent to call you when someone is offer a 12 million dollar a year coach job is not that much of a pain in his life..

The cause stuff sounds interesting.. but I thought that had to be documented .. letters sent. Documents saying he did not fix it .. before fired..

Idk about playing chicken.. just a simple calculation of the future amount with a net present value calculation .. and a little reduction if we drop the requirement to look for work.. which is not much effort.. not many 12 million a year coaching jobs out there for him to send in the occasional application..

Or he could just say no.. give me 800k a month and I will dollar cost average 400k into the market and travel and party all over the world for six years..

We have no leverage.. cut a business deal and move on..

This would have all been.behind doors if temu trump stayed focused on Ten Commandments posters instead..
Joby and archer if US.. have gotten pretty far with govt and faa clearance

There are others in Germany and China..

Joby and archer have links to major airlines, military ( palinter).. uber ( taxi)… they are not really taxis .. you take an uber to a evtol port to get around the city and the evtol port to get access to the airport ( thus the links to the airline companies). Palintar and military are obvious ( drones also)…

re: Recommend electric smoker?

Sorta open topic..
Old school brinkman water smokers if just wanting to smoke the occasional chicken turkey ribs .. gotta load the wood chips every few hours.. works great.. low cost and smoker option.. what I started with .. that and a gas grill.. still have a decent shape one in garage somewhere ..

Pellet smoker… would stay with a lower end one… I have a few traegers. Not sure you really get any bank for your buck with these smokers. I have A tailgate one for use like a grill and smoking small stuff like steaks. Fish.. pork tenderloin .. a bigger one for briskets and racks of ribs..

Imo just buy a basic offset smoker at tractor supply and learn to use charcoal and wood chunks.. once you figure it out the charcoal gives stable heat.. wood for smoke.sorta the fun of smoking.. loading fuel , loading wood every once in a while and measuring time by beer counts .

Not sure I will replace my electric pellet smokers when they go..

I would be looking at a few year long global cruises.. .. give my lawyer the magic net present value number I would settle for the buyout.. the name of my financial planner to arrange the account transfers.. and adios amigos .

Nice weather.. great game to make a family day of it.. wake up and have a brunch .. get some coffee and walk the campus and wander into the stadium.. enjoy some light food.. game over early and take the kids to visit Mike and grab a taco or something on campus..

This game can not be more family friendly..

See y’all there… geaux tigers
Looks like we are putting everything back in place and kicking the can down the road to mid December end of Jan. ?

I guess time to make a longer term deal… but not at expense of jobs.. air safety etc..???

Am I missing something?

“You’re blaming Nuss because he doesn’t hasn’t lived up to your expectations”

15 years ago .. ok

But now … no… I am blaming a person that was paid 3 million dollars to provide results for my business and he failed miserably..

I sell poor performing stocks and move on.. … the relationship between players/students/fans/ universities has changed

I did not ask to change them …
I will see you there….. hopefully cooler weather and will have some pulled pork sandwiches after the game..

Hopefully we have a lot of families come since early..geaux tigers…

“or the coaching didn’t properly adjust to his limited skill set or the O Line play made him jumpy because he was getting brutalized every other play or whateve”

HIS… limited skill set
HIM … jumpy
