Yeah , I’d hate to try to play three Monday. Not even sure that’s allowed. What happens if we get to Monday and still have three to play and both teams have one loss? Does the high seed advance or is there a Tuesday game? We still have a chance for bad weather today and especially Monday

For Arkansas and lsu . It is absolutely imperative that we both win our games this afternoon because we don’t want to play double headers today and tomorrow.

That would 100% be worst case scenario.

The good thing for Arkansas is that Hollan only threw 48 pitches on Friday, so he is available again for another 50+ pitches if your scenario unfolded.

I bet the upcoming weather played a role in Skenes throwing on Friday.

If we have to come out of the losers bracket and play twice tomorrow, McEntire would pitch again as well. Nobody on the entire staff has gotten used to any real pitching routine.

Every guy we actually count on is a starter, reliever and/or closer depending on what’s necessary. If they’re under 125 pitches on the week then there’s still availability.

tuesday games have happened. From years ago, i remember that was the latest day they could play, and it goes to higher seed advancing after that

Ok, bear with me here. Let’s say OSU beats LSU today. Rain washes away the night game between Sam Houston ( assuming they win) and LSU. They manage to play Monday with LSU winning. One loss LSU advances to the championship round against unbeaten Oregon State. If it comes a downpour and they can’t play at all Tuesday, are you saying LSU would move on?

Of course not, that would go to the team that has the best record in the regional

I thought so, but the way it was stated (higher seed advances) had me a bit perplexed.

I was away but it was good to see the Gamecocks playing like they did a few months ago. Hopefully they put this regional away and are truly back. Getting some of the bats back in the lineup seems to be paying benefits.

I talked shite about Campbell when they were down 5-0 yesterday. They’re up early on NC State and have a couple of runners on. Am I going to get karma’s for that comment?

You would think NC State would have more depth than Campbell for a 5 game weekend. If I'm South Carolina I'm ok with Campbell winning this game.

What’s up with all the empty seats at FL. Pretty sad they can’t get better fan support.

I think you're good - baseball gods tend to reset as each new day comes

we've been led to believe Sanders will be used outta the pen for USC this weekend. he's not been called on through the first 2 wins - I'm wondering if Kingston/Parker are having thoughts about starting him game 3 this evening.

as for this elim game ongoing - I think I'd rather face the team ahead 5-0 early than the team who comes back from being down 5-0 early - don't wanna any part of that momentum carrying over.

Nice break for UCONN and its 250 pound pitcher that the heat index isn't 125 today in Gainesville.
