Yeah, he had no choice to stop the bleeding at that piont. I didnt like it, but who knows how bad it would have been had he not shut down the lineup for 3 innings.

I've never understood the Monke hype. He can't control his pitches and gets lucky from time to time.
Vermillion throws strikes, not overpowering stuff, but if he locates it's effective.
