Don't you just love how they made sure to pit the two remaining SEC teams against one another to avoid another All SEC finale.
Okay NCAA, you want it that way? Regardless if Arkansas or LSU wins their opening series, everyone from the conference needs to pull like crazy for the team that comes out.

Nobody wants it this way. This is going to kill ratings to lose an SEC team early in the tournament. Blame it on the other SEC teams that couldn't get in.

SEC had #1 Vandy, #4 Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Miss St, Oklahoma all on the opposite side of the bracket from LSU/Arkansas but none of them held up their end. #3 Arky/#6 LSU were pitted to play each other in their first game in Omaha when the brackets came out, not like they reseeded to damn those 2 teams
ETA If chalk held up then it would’ve been #1 Vandy v. #4 Auburn playing each other in the CWS semifinal to see who played #2 Texas v. #3 Arkansas in the other CWS semifinal

I’d love to see LSU win CWS but they don’t have the bats to hang with the hogs. This will be an early exit for lsu. Outside the two stud pitchers, they will get roped in later innings. They are missing a couple pieces to go all the way.

Stop blaming the committee. Start blaming all the SEC top 16 seeds who folded like a cheap tent in regionals and Supers.
SEC teams were spread out all across the brackets on both sides.

A lot of teams had new coaches or rosters, and there is always some unsaid expectation by some SEC fans that baseball is a reload and no drop in production sport.
