Napier is stubborn and in-over his head

Let me first say I really thought with his strong recruiting and leadership style that he’d be the guy and I think there still can be hope in the long run….BUT
He clearly can’t handle running the CEO type role and the offense at the same. And he’s too stubborn to realize it. He better figure that out quick or he’s toast and won’t even get to see his first recruiting class graduate. Stubbornness is the WORST quality any coach can have.
The Mississippi State Scott Striklin Cow Poo stank has officially suffocated all of Gainesville. Rough times, indeed.

He's Florida's Mike Shula, only he'll never win ten games.

Les Miles got fired for it after winning a National Championship and Playing for another.
Y'all really need to cut bait as soon as you can. He's in way over his head and Florida should never have to settle for a guy like that.

MS State is brilliantly playing the long game by ruining one athletic department at a time exporting awful AD’s.

You’d think as often as Florida changes football coaches they would be good at it by now.

I think Florida was a lot further down than most people realized when he took over. Having Anthony Richardson helped paper over just how bad the talent situation had gotten.
I actually think they showed some improvement last night. Utah is going to be in the playoff conversation probably, especially after they get Cam Rising back. They're a solid team coached by one of the best (and most underrated) in the country. Defense showed some early mistakes, but held a top 15 team to 24 points on the road.
Graham Mertz actually looked pretty good, made some good throws, and the offense looked better in the 2nd half. The OL, though, is going to cost Florida some games. They are pretty bad. It's going to be the Achilles heel this season for the Gators.
Napier's going to need another year to build this thing up. I think last year Florida was where Florida State was 3 seasons ago, except Florida had an NFL-level QB.

I don't think he has a strong leadership style though, I think he's a CEO type who lives and dies by the people around him in the vein of Ed O, albeit not as loud and obnoxious.

While all of this is fair and true it doesn’t hide the fact the team look unprepared and sloppy. That’s a reflection on the coach.
There’s a reason you only see a handful of head coaches across college and pro run the team and offense…and the dudes who do it successfully are hall of famers. It’s not easy.

I’ve heard nothing but awful things about Cohen from State fans and was shocked Auburn hired him. He & the boosters there seem like a ticking time bomb.
