He said history not one year. Smith has been great his whole career. I know you guys want to minimize this year to make you feel better about it and demean others but the rest of us came to play.

I would wager you would sing a different tune if UF would not have stunk up the field their last few games and gotten into the playoffs. And let me save you the reply before you go I still would have said that if UF won. BS

And for the record I would not rank Smith the best WR in CFB history. Yes he brought home the awards but I would wager that many of those other WRs could have done the same if they cane back for their senior year.
Skill wise I would probably go with Moss and if he would have not had the off the field issues I think he would have been one of the best and skill wise I still have him there.

I'm watching LSU basketball right now but I could probably find you at least 5 maybe 10 LSU WR's that were better than Devonta before his Senior year.

Home boy needs to check out Jerry Rice’s stats in college

You have to understand I wasn't saying he was the best. I was just pointing out he had other good years. And for you to list them. You just wanted to point out this year for some reason. Your bringing facts didn't include his other years.
It would be like me just pointing out Fnettes stats vs Bama and none of his other stats.

The kid is a bad arse, theres no mistaking that. But you guys love to leave out how easy his life is. He's not putting up those numbers at South Carolina. Great system, great coaching, 17 other receivers so you can't shade him etc. Hell I'll name a guy better and he did it with a QB who would've been arrested for DUI that day and you're entire NFL caliber D holding his cock for him

I'm an LSU fan, not UF lol. I know, the flair is UF.
Just saying the most teams did not have their best players this year with the exception of Bama.
Skills wise, I agree that Moss is up there. Tim Brown and Megatron would've been absolute terrors in modern offenses too.

The stats that Jordan Matthews put up are more impressive considering he did it at VANDERBILT.

Jerry Rice and Randy Moss.
Larry Fitzgerald plays somewhere other than Pitt and he wins the Heisman.

Eddie Kinnison
Josh Reed
Xavier Carter
Micheal Clayton
Dwayne Bowe
Jarvis Landry
DJ Chark
Jamaar Chase
Kayshon Boutte
Just to name a few.
Not really fair to compare Smith to them, though. They didn’t play during *Covid Season*

I agree but I also think Smith would have had this kind of year no matter the current situation or not. I think what he has shown is what happens when you play for 4 years where so many jump at the chance as a junior when they should have come back. Last year at best late 1st rounder probably 2nd, now he is potentially a top 10 pick.

As a UA fan I could only imagine Julio in the current offensive schemes. Moss and Brown have always been two of my favorites.

Percy Harvin owns the SEC record for highest yards/carry in a single season (9.2)...as a WR.

A stoned Randy Moss was better.

Percy Harvin was an incredible football player. I loved that guy. I hitched my fantasy team to him at some point. Don’t remember how, that turned out...but I was ride or die with PH.
Ed: PH , to me, was a,lot like David Palmer, in how fricking explosive they were.
