Miles is a great guy and all that stuff, but what does he bring to the table? Nothing other than a father figure type of guy.

So Miles sucks, but Spurrier isn't better?

Why would it surprise you that someone who thinks Miles is just a "father figure type of guy" and not have Spurrier in the top two or three coaches in the SEC?

Based on accomplishments

Saban
Spurrier
Miles
Richt
Malzahn
Sumlin

Coaches I would rather have for the next 5-10 years

Saban
Maybe Malzahn

I think Miles has done about all he is going to do especially since he will have to play Saban and Malzan every year.
Sumlin hasn't proven he can put a defense together.
Richt is on the downhill side of his career
Spurrier spends more time on the golf course than at work

Lol @ the Gus posts.

Most football fans are all about what happened last year.

You 17 yr olds will feel dumb when he flakes out.

I am not 17 and not a fan of Auburn/Malzahn. However, he did win the SEC and play in the BCS Title Game. Only Miles and Saban have done that.

And yes, I know that Spurrier has a NC back in the day.

Yep, he has a long history of "flaking out". Arky fans .

Hey Porksammich, you forgot to answer the OP.

I know I will get blasted for this concerning Bielema, but I am also looking at his past record, not just last year.

Saban
Spurrier
Miles

Only time will tell, I am sure most Hog fans don't place Bielema anywhere near this high.

If I am wrong, he won't be in Fayetteville for more than 4 or 5 years.

none. after sos, maybe saban and I like pinkel (pinckel)? he has really adapted well to recruiting for the sec. less texas and more southern states.

That's the problem with this place. One season does not quantify a career. He's got more hardware than 3/4 of the conference. Hatred blinds people of the truth.

Spurrier was great at Florida. Id rather Miles than Spurrier right now though. No particular reason.

And yes, Miles does bring in wins. He makes it impossible to lose with all the talent Wilson(Porter pre-Wilson)brings in.

Forgive me LSU fans for giving my opinion. Many players will tell you the same thing though.

Miles didn't seem to have much of an issue with Malzahn last year...
