I got to meet his mom and some of his family, Dashawn Spears family also at the game and you could tell they come from great families. They even introduced us to them and they’re both well spoken young men with a good head on their shoulders. I was very impressed with Ty. They’re off to a great start.

I know it might be kind of tough find but really prefer them to be in between the 35 yard lines, and in the lower sections. I can even do 3 and 3 if they’re separate. Me and the wife will just split the kids up.

Leaving LC around 330 to make it to campus about 6.
Hopefully I can make it in time to get in the pit for game day but I’m sure the line is already started.
Watch them live and then make some new friends while tailgating and enjoying the return of football season

I don’t think they will be a real contender for him honestly. I think it’s more of a negative recruiting thing with them.

I never said he was gonna play for free haha. Just that it won’t be the end all be all because chances are, this time next year he’ll be a top 15 ish prospect. I’m just bringing insight on my cousin and letting yall know where LSU stands with him as of now.

Yes our OL coach was there but it rubbed the family a bad way that Lane wasn’t there himself. Lane told the family he was coming and he ended up sending just the OL coach while he flew to Atlanta to go chase Seaton, which hey by all means I understand with a talent like him. Not knocking it at all. But they took it personal that Lane didn’t even man up and pick up the phone to say hey change of plans or anything… but you know who spoke on Lanes behalf? Ole Frank, and not just him but the whole staff from OM & A&M. They aired out a lot of dirty laundry about him and the new staff. Him basically standing the kid and his parents up may not seem big to us but it’s big to them and LSU is basically on the shite list as of right now. A&M & ND are ahead and LSU isn’t in his top 3. Also this is a recruitment where money/NIL isn’t a factor. He comes from a great family and isn’t just looking for who can offer him the biggest deal. This family is all about relationships and staying true to your word.

While I was a big Frank guy because of his recruiting history in the past, I wasn’t upset over the fact that he left simply because our RB room hasn’t been up to par as of late and it seems guys would regress under him. But the stuff about him on the recruiting trail leading up to NSD was very true. Frank had been talking down on LSU once he knew Lane was coming in and wasn’t gonna keep him.

And look not to hijack your thread but still to this day he’s telling these recruits how bad of a person Lane is both today and in the past when they were at Tennessee, and airing all the dirty laundry on the LSU staff. The stuff that made it to this board about him advising the New Orleans kids to look elsewhere when he was still here was not a rumor. He’s been on a rampage since then and is making it his business to talk down on LSU to any recruit he can. I know all of this for a fact because he’s recruiting my little cousin and this was discussed with Frank himself.

I remember not so long ago, we wouldn’t come out on the good side of these recruiting battles. It seemed we’d always be in top 3 or presumed the leader and then come commitment time or signing day, we’d get the rug pulled from under us. Man it sure is refreshing to be on winning side of these. Hell of a job by LSU and co.

Albert is my little cousin. LSU is going hard after him but so is everyone in the nation haha. He went on tour this year he had visits every weekend. His top schools that stand out to him are A&M, ND, LSU and Nebraska (Odd right). But pretty much everything the guy above said about him is spot on. He grew up around LSU family so hopefully it’s a strong enough bond to help him stay home. He even came to like 3 or 4 home games this year.

I know he might command a nice dollar but I think he’d be worth it. If his ceiling is as high as we think, then a spring with him getting #1 reps would probably be huge for him and we wouldn’t have to rush Leavitt if he isn’t ready or if he’s just rusty. Plus, leg injuries seem to linger with our players for some reason so it’d be a good insurance policy for this year.

I for one would welcome him back. Glad his issues got worked out but I’m hoping it isn’t too late and he wants to go far away. I still think he would be a really good player for us in the backfield.

I just don’t see any logic at all in the 3rd & goal. Under one minute, no timeouts for OM and you essentially hand them a free timeout instead of running Stockton and living with the result knowing if you don’t get in, the clock will run and you tie it with 20 seconds left. In all reality OM wouldn’t be able to do anything and you go into OT at the worst. Instead you give it to the guy who’s red hot. They deserve to go home. If Sloan did that we’d be calling for his head haha
