I'm 48 and I've seen plenty of these "unbeatable" teams lose. Labelling a team tGOAT midseason is an affront to the football gods.

Today... honestly no one, and all the other top 2-7 teams have shown blemishes.

However, by the end of the season.

UGA- because their issue isn’t talent, it’s youth and leadership and that can mature and form over the next 7 games.

tOSU- they have some of the same issues as UGA, a lot of talent, but tend to lose focus because of youth.

ND- they look really solid, especially after Book has taken over; but you just have this feeling that they may not be great.

LSU- I just don’t know, the D is clearly loaded; I just feel like the offense is fools gold.

OU/ WVU- they cant stop Bama, but Murray & Grier are ridiculous and if Bama just stumbles on O a couple of times

Miami- The new QB is dynamic and they have dudes all over the field

Penn State- Trace McSorley, the guy just seems to have that JFF quality he just finds a way

Biggest pretender is Clemson in my eyes.

The D front 4 is great; but the backend has serious issues. On Offense I don’t know why
they don’t run the ball more. The OL has not progressed in pass pro, and I don’t believe in TL.

In that order.

LSU and Auburn are capable of a scare in any year, under any circumstance. But, the other 3 games would make me nervous based on matchups and talent vs. anxiety caused mostly by past scar tissue.

Finally, a logical nd honest Bama fan.

Not every LSU fan is delusional. We are excited that this season is turning out much better than expected. But no one should assume that their team is beating bama. They’ve always had a great team, but they never had a truly game changing quarterback. Well now they do, and no one is beating them.
But you as a Missouri fan attacking LSU is about as stupid as it gets. Bama is undoubtedly better than LSU. But Missouri isn’t even in the same universe as LSU.

Yeah, I'd have to disagree that it's more of a nuisance if the other team beats you. You know, like what actually happened? Had another team did what they should, Bama is sitting home watching during a couple of these title runs.

Alabama really does not think about Auburn year round, unlike Auburn that has "BEAT BAMA" painted on the walls.

Ole Miss beat Alabama, are they more than a nuisance?
Alabama won the NC that year

Texas AM beat Alabama, are they more than a nuisance?
Alabama won the NC that year

Auburn beat Alabama, and Alabama won the NC..

Sorry, Auburn really is no more than a nuisance to Alabama.

None, unfortunately. But, if a minor miracle happens and they lose...

this forum is going to be delicious

'72 Dolphins
'07 Patriots
'85 Bears

They'd all lose, but they'd at least give Bama a game.

I’ve said this 5 times on these forums. UGA and OSU don’t have to play Bama for 2+ months. Youth on defense ends by week 8-10 for most teams.

In 2014 OSU gave up 200 yards to Tevin Coleman a week before Michigan. 2 weeks later that same rush defense destroyed Melvin Gordon.

CFB teams can get so much better in a short time.

In the Playoff era, only OH ST and Clemson got the job done when it mattered. I am not sure either will do it this year.

I’ve never seen a 5-0 team so desperate for attention.
