I’d love to see Ohio State and Georgia included in the playoffs

High school and Pros let the playoffs decide the champion other bowls don’t mean shite anyways.

8 team

5 conference champions
3 at larges

Nope

Then the 9 and 10 teams are crying.

It never stops.

College football is not structured in such a way that the playoffs are determined by results so you will always have this.

Thats the same reasoning people used to never have playoffs.

NFL teams get 12 in and their playoffs are way more fun then college

I would support 6 with top two getting first round bye.

The BFL determines their playoffs by on the field results. Nobody picks them. There is no controversy.

That will never be the case in CFB

It is fair just win all your games unless you are not a P5 team

75% of the semifinals have been 3 or more possession blowouts... neither games just announced are single digit point spreads. we honestly need fewer teams.

I think you can have a 24 team playoff and use the bowls for the playoff games. Top 8 teams get a 1st round bye.

I wonder how UGA would choke to keep themselves out of the playoffs if they expanded to 8.

Right.

It will be Clemson and Bama and no one would suggest otherwise if we were only picking 2 teams.

Expanding the playoffs is almost as dumb as having them in the first place.

So we can argue over number 8 instead of number 4?
