Disappointing to lose a defensive coordinator who absolutely owned Aggie and OU.

Neither team could do anything against his defense, the last two years.

He’s a Georgia fan. He fails to see all of the mudslinging towards Bobo from his own fan base. Now that they’re in the playoffs all is well again. A little over a month ago, Bobo sucked and should be fired. Like high schoolers complaining about nonsense

Word is that PK didn't coordinate the entire defense and left the DBs to his assistants. Thus, a big personality like Duane Akina could come in and turn Texas into the #114 ranked pass defense.

Muschamp is a complete DC and will impose his philosophy across the entire defense.

If he does really well I bet he gets a big name school like Florida to give him a hc shot.

Your DC was very good, I thought?

Sounds like a bunch of bullshite to me. It was a strategic power play. UGA quietly attributes much of their defensive success to his role when he was as an analyst. Texas saw this and decided, "I’ll take that."

reeks of alumni and big money donors screaming about OU and A&M in the playoffs. Sark you need to make some changes kind of move

Uh... if anything, the donors are mad about not being in the playoff. Has nothing to do with aggie and ou getting in, since we smoked you both.

Meh… his defense as a “main DC” can be exploited.

Watch the money being paid out to coaches and NIL next season.

A&M and Texas Tech making the playoff is gonna cost boosters a ton.

Both things can be true. Muschamp is who Sark wanted when he took the Texas job.

Going to have to wait till 2027 we don't hit any of his old stops next year.

2029 @Georgia & @Auburn

Of Texas 3 coordinators Kwiatkowski was absolutely the last of the 3 that needed to be replaced.

How TF Kyle Flood and Jeff Banks still have jobs is mind boggling.

If true. A great hire. Muschamp is a great assistant or DC..he is not HC material. Why he would go back ti Texas after they treated him like dog shiite is just a measure of how desperate he is for a job.

He was head coach waiting in the wings at Texas. Wonder if he had any buyers remorse for leaving instead of waiting another year or two.
