Glad he’s not hurt bad. A real talented kid with a feel good story. Hope the best for him. Well I hope he plays bad one game but I hope he can stay healthy

Thanks. I see you’re new here. You will probably find I really don’t have a problem with your school.

I was gonna say it looked very similar to the Trask injury against Auburn

Trask came back in and played after his mild sprain. The USCe qb looked like he could barely walk. If he plays this weekend that would be surprising.

Unfortunately for you we only need him for a half.

If Hilinksi plays and is healthy, this is gonna be a 31-28 type of game easily.

Saw one of there fans earlier say they were hoping Hilinski's ACL was torn

It woulda been a MCL not a ACL anyway. ACL's are usually from backwards twisting falls, impacts from behind or severe changes of direction.

This. I have never seen a kid limp on a knee injury like that and come back and play within a week. The way he limped on it, I would think an MCL at a minimum and out a couple weeks.

I tore my ACL twice in the span of a year on the same knee. I could run on my knee without a limp the second time I tore it.

I hope for the kids sake that Muschamp isn’t risking the kids career. He looks to me like the best QB they have had in quite a while.

You have no idea what you are talking about. ACL injuries can happen a lot of ways.

A noon kickoff time is absolute bs for this game.

Terrible idea. Champ’s going to end that boy’s career.

This is correct.

I mean John Elway tore his in high school and played what 16-17 years in the NFL. I mean it’s not advisable but it’s not unrealistic. The procedure has came a long way since Elway high school days.

Yeah, except I taught skiing for 20 years and we had ACL awareness training every year that I taught. I was fortunate never to have injured mine, but twice witnessed folks blow theirs out.

They CAN happen lots of ways. I said USUALLY they happen in backwards twisting falls, impacts from behind or severe changes of direction where there is already stress on the ACL to begin with. The ligament cannot handle the extra stress and pops.

quote:

Your ACL can be injured if your knee joint is bent backward, twisted, or bent side to side. The chance of injury is higher if more than one of these movements occurs at the same time. Contact (being hit by another person or object) also can cause an ACL injury.

And what was said is that they are going to evaluate his movements on Tuesday. If he can play without pain and is mobile enough to protect himself he will play. If not, he won't.

So you had training in ACL injuries and concluded from the shot he took to his knee that it couldn’t have been an ACL?

Like I said, I hope for the kids sake he makes a full recovery soon and he doesn’t get rushed back too soon.

Muschamp saying he’s okay means his knee is literally shattered and we won’t see him until next year

This worries me as well.

Did he examine this injury with his new majic library lady glasses? It may be completely healed by now.
