Unfortunately for you we only need him for a half. Ask UGA
Nice
But in all seriousness, the kid looked like he could hardly put weight on it even when he was cheering the team on from the sidelines. Hard to believe he's full go but I guess we'll see

a feel good story.
Probably not quite the right term.
That's what I was thinking, I wouldn't refer to losing his brother like that as "a feel good story" that's tragic and horrible

I will be surprised if he plays. But, it will affect Florida's prep for the game.

So you had training in ACL injuries and concluded from the shot he took to his knee that it couldn’t have been an ACL?
A million years a go I was a Bio major. More recently, I took both both Anatomy and physiology (aced both) along with a slew of other classes when I was considering a career change.
What I said was based on the mechanism of injury, an impact from the side with the knee fully extended, is the most likely scenario for him was a MCL injury. This is exactly how Hilinski was hit. Not a great image, but you can see it. The hit was not consistent with an ACL injury, although it could have been possible.

I spoke to my dad last night who's a retired surgeon who practiced for over 40 years, and he said exactly the same thing. He thought it was a MCL as well.
So no, I can't diagnose anything from a TV set or a computer. But I know and understand the most likely injuries from a particular hit or fall.

you do realize Muschamp has no input on whether he can play or not. It's the team doctor that makes that decision the coach is not involved.

And I swear to god Muschamp says players are fine BEFORE the doctors tell him “what? No he’s absolutely not fine!”

Hilinski at SC's victory party...

Yeah after reading that could have said that better. His foundation and work on raising the awareness of mental health problems is a really good thing and you have to admire and pull the kid.
That’s what I was wanting to say. Thanks for pointing that out
