With a 28 point spread and Umass being a little better than people think, plus seeing we lost another WR for the season and now are solely depending on a bunch of raw guys outside of our TE, 28 point spread might be a odds makers trap. Mullen is not going to risk anymore injuries and I suspect Rankin will be held out too to make sure he is 100% next week. Is it just me or does anyone see 28 points kinda high. I'm sure we're going to just run the ball eating clock. Your thoughts?

UMass gives up nearly 200 yards rushing per game and gave up 237 last week to App St. Not sure we need any receivers.

Well thats good because I just saw both Myles and Donald Gray are out and likely for rest of the season. We're going to be using walk-on receivers soon they way we keep losing these guys. Are you eligible to play?

Late in the year, so I'm sure Mullen will play backups and just get the win. UMass is no threat.

Wouldnt bet on that one.

I read your post twice. Im not sure what this has to do with LSU vs Alabama unless it was subtle.

And Umass is awful, you should be up by 28 halfway through the 2nd quarter.

UMASS is trash, State is going to win by 35+. Osirius Mitchell is a good freshman WR that needs to be seeing the field. He's a 6'5 Randy Moss type build.

I'm not sure most people think anything of UMass.

I do, though, and I think it's a good line. State is streaky, but I think they come close to this line just going through the motions. I'd give 28. 42-13, but could easily see 49/52-13/10.

UMASS is not trash. They will cover the 28 points. Last year they had the lead on us in the third quarter and were within 6 points in the 4th qtr.
I was at the game last year. This is UMass’s Super Bowl and they will play hard. They only lost to UT by 4 points.
I think we will run and pound it but this game will be similar to BYU in that we will win but it will be like 31-7 or something along that line.
We can’t afford to sleep on this team.

They are 2-6 but have only been out scored by 5 points total for the season so that means all of their losses have been close.

No bet or take the points.

They're 1-6 and that margin is skewed a bit by blowing out Georgia Southern. Ga Southern and Kent State are the two worst teams in the country this season.

Mullen will call a conservative game so as not to reveal any of the secret binder plays he will use to defeat Bama

Keytaon Thompson will be playing halfway through the 2nd. Though our offense may still be just as good (been awhile since I could say that about a backup QB).

I wonder will they score at all against our defense, so it will at least be XX-0.

I think we run the ball all day long.

A couple of weeks back, Nick needed maybe 900 yards to beat Tim Tebow in SEC-QB rushing lifetime yards. Tebow owns the all time record in SEC football for SEC-QB yards rushing.

If I were NIck, I would try to get my 900 yards against Mass.

I know he has another year to beat Tebow's record. I think Nick is #6 or #5 at the moment, with Dak and John Bond? among those ahead of him.
