Jarrian is an athletic kid. He wanted to play corner and State has a sophomore and a junior that will be starting.

He was asked to move to the safety position so he could be on the field. He didn’t want to switch....he went to Ole Miss and his former CB coach T-Buck.

Honestly, Jones is a better wide receiver than all the positions. He struggled at the corner position and would have been better suited at safety. Players get one chance to play college ball and he decided to go play elsewhere and get a chance to play the position he wants to play.

I've usually defended Moorhead, but it sounds like he let players walk all over him. Leach won't, remember when he made Craig James' son cry and file a lawsuit?

It's so odd that a player wants to play DB instead of WR

This is the correct take. Not sure why State fans are getting so bent out of shape. Everyone wins. JJ get his way. Ole Miss wins the media for the day. State gets easy pickings in the Egg Bowl.

I’m all for players having the same mobility as coaches to go where they want. But this shite is straight up treason

If Lovett ends up transferring to us instead of Florida State, that will be shady as hell

Well yeah, you can accomplish a lot when you can get away with stealing from children’s hospitals to pay football players

I know you are talking about a merger, but since Ole Miss is constantly changing it's mascot lately, that would be a total bitch slap if Ole Miss just picked it up anyway and was like frick you, it's happening.

Beats the shite outta pedobear anyway.

Anytime something bad happens to state, it’s because ole miss boosters paid for it to happen.

He is listed as a starter. Who besides Emerson do you think was playing ahead of him? It’s a big loss no matter how you slice it. You sound like we did trying to minimize the van Jefferson transfer.

Van Pran was the only one we missed on, but that’s kind of my point. You guys may produce SEC caliber talent but half of it doesn’t even go to Ole Miss or State usually.

Jarrian Jones started 1 game last year with 12 tackles (6 against Abilene Christian) and 2 PBU.

The two starters will be Tyler Williams from Oxford
& Martin Emerson from Pensacola. Both started 5 games last year and was the projected starters for 2020. The reason Jones was asked to move to safety.
