Vandy was terrible under Clark lea for a couple years as well but they were competing. Obviously their expectations are different so they were patient and now he has that program rolling because they gave him time.

Horse shite.

Vanderbilt hired Clark Lea as its head football coach on December 14, 2020. Guess his record.

'21... 0–8
'22... 2–6
'23... 0-8
'24 ... 3–5

You fire Lebby, and we will all laugh. You get what you deserve. 2 coaches fired in 3 years. That's about the stupidest thing I have ever heard.

Vandy holds that record on 4 separate runs. And look at them now. Get behind your coach. Give him what he needs to succeed in NIL. What the frick are yall even spending money on? Your entire coaching staff combined makes less than Kiffin.

State has also had the toughest schedule in the SEC last year and this year.

Two overtime losses to ranked teams and a 2-point SEC loss away is most definitely competing. Literally three plays from 7-1, and State has yet to play any of the six worst teams in the SEC.

Some of our fans are stupidly jumping off a cliff. Lebby has us playing at our fullest potential. We are still under talented and we have not learned how to close out a game. Plus our depth is thin. But my goodness compared to 2023 & 2024 this team is night and day better. Yes it is frustrating to lose games that you have in hand. But our wins will come. Lebby has done a great job in a season and a half.
Some fans have a microwave mentality these days. Most often success comes in increments. And considering where we were a short time ago, we are going to be successful in time.

There should be excitement there, instead I see way too much dumbass comments from your base.

Most folks know he’s made progress, only the willfully ignorant can’t see it.

I think the people commenting to fire are just reeling from 5 weeks of almost turning the corner and then very suddenly and violently not doing so every single time. It’s impossible to not be frustrated with the choices at the end of games, but he’s young and a first time HC and there were always going to be mistakes, just have to limit them moving forward and learn from them.

I think he’ll get that first SEC win this year, and then the real pressure to start winning for real can start.

State doesn't have the players.

They need to spend more money.

I think what Lebby has done has been really impressive...compared to what he started with.

It means nothing if they don't get better players.

Bob Stoops created unrealistic expectations across the college football landscape when he took a 6-6 Oklahoma team and won the national championship the next year, now everyone thinks if I just find the right coach...but then again I don't understand how Texas, USC, Michigan, FSU are not top 5 programs every year

He has gotten better players this year compared to last year. But there are no automatic fixes. We are so much better this year than last year and the wins will come.

100% agree with you. Give him the money to buy an OL and DL with a few more pieces and you are going to win games.

I admit it's terribly frustrating to lose so many winnable games. We are a ton better than less year and oh so close on a couple of games. Too many schools looking for replacements this year. Got to stay with them. Everyone bitching about Lebby but defense lost that game (and special teams). I was kind of numb as that games ended yesterday.
I can't give them any money because I have a fundamental disgust with the NIL and transfer portal. Maybe others will kick some in but it won't be me. But, we would be stupid to change this year.

OL

This is really our main issue. I think it’s 90% of our issue. The production Lebby has gotten out of this offense with this shite O line is pretty impressive. I’m also certain we finish off UF and Texas with just a mediocre O line.

Every other SEC team like Ole Miss is happy that Lebby is the HC and I don't blame them. He's a garunteed win for any sec team. The equivalent of a bye, you can even fire your HC afterwards because its an embarrassing win.

Yall will get your first win against Arkansas. I’m not sure yall are actually better, but I think our players will let go of the rope after losing to a terrible Auburn team at home.

Any improvement was bought and paid for and will bolt first chance they get with a better offer. Our coach is derping his way to the bread line. The issue is not the talent, the issue is a dumbass calling plays with nobody to call him out on his dumbass decisions. He is making decisions that would get a high school coach fired. It’s just stupid football.
