Atlanta is a major metropolitan city. No one or two schools have any imfluence in that city. . When you move to Atlanta no one asks you “what school?” When you move to B’ham that’s the first question you are asked. And if you say anything other than bama or awburn, you are told it has to be one of those two. Never seen so much bama bias in my life as in B’ham.

upon further review, you made an even greater argument for Tupelo than I did

It's settled then

Tupelo is the center of the SEC

They have some nice little southern taverns there with plenty of agriculture lawyers in starched oxfords and with floppy bangs

Brentwood TN secret society of Big Six frat boys gonna be pissed

here's what cracks my shite up

you're literally talking to people from across the southeast on a message board in the year 2017 and you STILL actually think the physical location of the SEC offices matters

The only reason the location matters is because I feel bad for SEC office employees for having to live in Birmingham

Now, I agree with this. I hate B Ham myself and have turned down several jobs there because I don't want to live there. I want to move the offices for a different reason than most. I want to reward them for a job well done. I want to move them on the coast somewhere(I think Savannah is nice), and give them all a pay raise. Are our schools not splitting more tv money than we ever have before. Is business not booming?

Atlanta has a superior and more diverse talent pool than Birmingham.
