Nah

Neutral site games are beginning to be moved into a home team’s stadium. I wonder if the SEC would do the same. Allow the best ranked team to host it this year. Would be weird but these are crazy times.

Wut? Doesn't this mean they aren't neutral
site games?
Which games are you referring to?

Those 3 cities are so far and away bigger, have better infrastructure, are wealthier, and have airport situations that blow Nashville out of the water.
GDP Ranking for each city:
#6 - Dallas
#7 - Houston
#9 - Atlanta
(about 20 feet of crap including cities like: Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, San Antonio)
#34 Nashville
Someone, please explain to me the infatuation with some people on this board with Nashville? Atlanta, Houston, Dallas host things like Olympics, Final Fours, CFB Playoff games, World Cup matches... what does Nashville host besides Country Music Shindigs? How is Broadway better than Beal St in Memphis?
And all that has nothing to do with holding an SEC event. And none of those are even close to being a central location. There's a reason the SEC has pretty much made Nashville the yearly home of the basketball tourney.
I agree, the stadium blows and would have to change.

Oh, they weren't traveling to Atlanta? I seem to remember tons of blue

Their basketball fans travel everywhere (and the UK basketball bandwagoners in the area attend). Hence why UK has sway in the MBB tourny location.

But not the reason it's being held in Nashville. Nashville just has a great setup for holding these events. Just look at the Stanley Cup and the NFL Draft. Sure it would be no different with the SEC Championship
No problem with other cities mentioned, but other than Atlanta they just aren't logistically plausible for most fanbases.
Again, this shouldn't even be a discussion until Nashville builds a new stadium.

Exactly it's never going to be considered until an indoor retractable roof stadium is built.May never happen because of the outrageous taxes but if they do they'll get a Super Bowl SEC Football Championship & other events like Wrestle Mania lol. Who knows may be a part of the New Yrs 6 rotation. Nashville is growing fast & has become one of the biggest tourist attractions in the country.

Atlanta sucks. A change is definitely needed.

Don't care...it's true
Please name the ACC and BIG schools that have more.

Atlanta has one of the best stadiums in the world, the College Football HOF and the exhibition space for SEC Fan Fare literally next door, and massive hotels like The Omni, Westin, Marriott Marquis and more all within walking distance. Through in actual mass transit and an airport with direct flights to most of the country. It's not moving anytime soon.
