Charlotte

hmm...Charlotte's stadium vs ATL's......This is a tough decision. Do we want to play in a concrete prison outside of the SEC or in one the the biggest cities in the SEC

hands down. Atlanta is the only place it should be. we are the damn SOUTHEAST conference and Atlanta is the capital of the southeast.

Birmingham and Atlanta were similar in 1930 when the conference started. Are you suggesting we move the HQ whenever the demographics change?

I think we can manage one change every 85 years.

Atlanta offers a lot of advantages. The largest number of fortune 500 companies in the southeast, major airport, state of the art facility.

Also, the SECCG should rotate between Houston and Atlanta.

I'm all for this. LSU would definitely benefit the most. We would be the closest school that ever has to worry about SEC championship games to Houston.

Why Birmingham is perfect... besides being close to the Overlord ruling REC counsel...

You just want this because you know there is no way they'd put it in Arkansas

They put it in Birmingham, so I'm not sure about that.

I'll vote for Dallas, since it's a neutral area with big media and we'd all like more Texan subscribers to the SECN.

Memphis, Nashville, Jackson, New Orleans, or Little Rock would be a nice change. Birmingham is a dirty little city that's hard to get to. Atlanta is too big and caters too much to the East.

I would't mind it in Atlanta. Eat at the original Chick-Fil-La before every game

Atlanta makes the most sense. However Charlotte ain't bad, Nashville either. Charlotte would probably be the location if they actually pulled up stakes , because of the network. I just think the election of Charlotte for the SECN was halfa**. I mean it was easier on ESPN because of ESPNU. But I think it was a lazy selection. Both ATL and Nash , are equally if not better when it comes to TV.

Regions Bank is the official bank of the SEC and they will ensure the SEC stays in Birmingham.

ATL is a great spot, but STL would be smack in the heart of the B1G.

That is the least of the problems for hosting it at the TWA Dome. Back in its heyday it was one of the best venues and rowdiest crowds in the NFL. Nowadays its like the Superdome, but with a perennial 9 loss team (at best).
