The game would have gone to OT. Arkansas game was a different story. Refs need to stop blowing whistles and stopping the play.

Not really. Ole Miss had a 28-27 lead. Called correctly, Ole Miss would have been given a 35-27 lead. Probably not going to OT. Now, if y'all are correct about the holding call it could make your case a bit stronger.

but more to your point....yes. They seem to be blowing their whistles way too fast. However, from what I understand it was the replay booth that allowed the play to proceed. This call would be on the replay crew and not the on field officials.

I question how everybody is ignoring Ole Miss was called for a grand total of one penalty for 5 yards.........but the refs "helped" Auburn.

In fairness, Auburn was only called for 3 penalties for 35 yards, so it's not like it was crazy lopsided in Ole Miss's favor. It looks like a game in which, as a whole, they let the teams play.

I missed both the hold on the kickoff call and the botched finger touch. There is a lot of links to the finger touch but can't find the holding call. Does anybody remember at what point in the game that happened?

Opening KO coming out of the half.

ETA If you are going back and watching, make sure you watch the series where Ole Miss took the lead late in the game. Pay special attention to the block in the back on the sideline and their OL mauling an Auburn player at the goal line on the TD run. An official is standing there and you can see him looking right at it.

Thanks man! I have to go to the hospital shortly, so I may not be able to watch that much. (Mom had to be taken to hospital Saturday) I will try to get back to this, though. Will definitely watch the hold call now, though before i have to go.

ETA
I can see where the called th hold, but it wasn't glaring. Monday definitely turned the defenders shoulders and had a grip on his shoulder. But again, not glaring. Without watching for it I probably would have missed it.

Thanks. leaving shortly. mom looked like she was having a stroke Saturday morning. Because of Covid they will only allow one person in the room with her a day. My brother took yesterday so today is my day. (Turns out no stroke, but they are running tests to try to find out what is wrong.)

Thanks, Leto!

Make sure he bashes them on the phantom holding call on our kick return for a touchdown too.

Guess that doesnt fit the narrative so it wont get talked about

All Of Auburn’s wins have been gifted by refs. Must be a coincidence.

That isn't more believable than a concerted effort on the part of the SEC and SEC refs to make sure Auburn wins at least 5 games? Listen to what you are saying.

I absolutely hate when the refs are the scapegoat in these situations. Handle your business and don’t let one bad or missed call decide the whole game. You know who else can’t accept defeat? Damn Democrats. It’s a 60 minute game with nothing but opportunities to take control. Sore loser is what Lane is acting like.

It was a call on 100 yard TD kick return that clearly never happened. It took 7 off the board.

35-27...Auburn literally scored 8 points on the final drive of the game. So OT would have been a possibility.

But as I typed I think I may have gone in 2004. Either way I left sad.

And it is long ago for this old brain.
