I was at that 58-3 debacle. LSU drove right down the field and kicked a FG. No more LSU highlights after that. About as miserable as I've ever been at an LSU game.

Cumberland lost to Georgia Tech 222-0 in 1916.
Wasn't that because Cumberland didn't field a team that year, but GT forced them to honor the scheduled game so Cumberland just threw some random guys out there?

eta: yep
some stats
cumberland:
27 rushes for -97 yards and 9 fumbles.
2/18 passing for 14 yards and 6 interceptions.
GT:
40 rushes for 1620 yards (40.5ypc) and 32 TD.
0 pass attempts
30/32 on extra point attempts

I was at that game. Rode the wagon up from Mobile, almost killed the poor horses. Talk about a long ride home. I coined that phrase after that game. Someone put it on Wiki for me.

I find it hilarious that almost half of these scores were by scrubs. Houston? UNC? St. Louis? Duke? Vanderbilt has two? That is hilarious.

Sewanee scored 60+ on Ole Miss several times. They beat Bama a lot too, but they didn't score that much.

No, seriously, one school's players were off fighting Germans

Pathetic, embarrassing, dishonorable, UGA.

Yeah, you would have thought they would have at least made a couple of foul shots.

What's really bizarre about this is that a few weeks later, we went into Tuscaloosa and upset nationally ranked Alabama 17-13.
Curley actually had a chance to go 6-5 and get a bowl bid if they had beaten Arkansas in the last game of '93.
Uh, no. It didn't happen...
