Well, I've been to all 12 campuses now. Auburn is by no means the worst.

Cajunbama just likes jabbing LSU. There is some form of ghetto by every SEC campus I've been to. Some just turn their head away from that of their school and amplify it of any other school.

is pathetic

so is Bama's unfortunately. I was disappointed to see that when I visited

What part of the UA campus is connected to the ghetto? You have the river to the north, residential housing to the east, student housing to the west and south. You have to go like 2 or 3 miles away from the actual campus to get to the ghetto. It's all the way on the other side of downtown.

Good then I can meet you on campus and show you the entire thing because you have obviously missed a lot of it. Better yet we can every square inch of it and get you to realize how "small" it is.

This. I find nice things about everywhere. Even the middle east had its moments.

This. I've only been to a couple other campuses and they were great.

I doubt any of the SEC campuses are bad.

I dont know the campus well but it was within a mile of the campus. I wanted to see Bryant Denny and my wife and I stopped in Tuscaloosa on the way home from TN.

Same for LSU campus. You have the lakes with Sororities then central campus with the Quad, Parade Grounds, and dorms. Then west campus with all the athletic stuff. 5 Minute drive down the road and you reach ghetto parts. Of course BR has ghettos, it's pretty much a big residential suburban area with a ton of people. T-town has some ghetto a couple minutes off campus. Past downtown Athens with the bars, there is some ghetto. Gainsville. Everywhere does.

Yea, some people are just too fricked up that they can't see past their dislike of a sports team.

Is a Tulane fan really talking shite about another school's campus? They have one of the ugliest campuses in the nation

I know I was just disappointed to see it, it was my first stop and we had to go thru it. The last time I went to a game in Alabama they were still playing at legion field against Penn St, but I usually catch them when they come to Tiger stadium.

The closest I can think of is if you cross under 15th on 12th, but that's like 4 or 5 miles from campus. You sure you didn't mistake some cheap student apartments for ghetto?

Tulan's campus is on St. Charles Avenue across from Audubon Park. That's one of the nicest areas in the state. UF sucks also

Thank God Alabama doesn't play at Legion Field no more. Not only is the stadium about to fall in on itself, but the neighborhood surrounding it doesn't leave you with a safe feeling. I went to all the Legion Field games as a student at Alabama, but I was glad when the last one was played there in 2003.

Im sure the consensus would be miss state though i have never been there... Of the schools i have visited i would have to say that Auburn is by far the worst. It really has the look and feel of a junior college...Its amazing how small their campus is for an sec university. They do have a nice stadium though..

I haven't been to all of them but I haven't seen a pathetic one yet.

This we can agree on and why would it matter anyway? Some of the highest ranked academic institutions are not in the greatest of neighborhoods.
