This and it's not close for me. Hardest hitting and intense game I have ever been to.

Alabama @ Florida, 1999. Probably the most intense game we won.

Auburn @ Alabama, 2010. Definitely the most intense game we lost . . like a slow death.

Auburn-Florida in 1985 was grown man football. We lost 14-10, but there were NFL players all over the field. Bo, Steve Wallace, Wilbur Marshall, etc

Auburn 05 and LSU 03. Unfortunately, both losses.

My list (of games I've personally witnessed), in no particular order:

1989 - Alabama
1993 - Florida
(These two games are the loudest I have personally ever heard Jordan-Hare Stadium)

1994 - Florida
2004 - LSU
2006 - LSU
2005 - Georgia
2010 - Arkansas
2010 - LSU
2010 - Alabama

UA v Tenn 2009

We've got some young people on this board. That was a snoozer. You watched the whole game until the final minutes, when you just knew we were going to win. Then, whoah, maybe we don't . . then we did.

The intensity was very short lived. Nothing like a real 60 minute slug fest.

Had to edit my previous post. This WAS in '06, not '05. They run together after a few years.

Those teams pounded the living crap out of each other. What I would give for a defense like that again.

I was kinda thinking this either. Tenn fans and every other fan on here were giving congrats for a beatdown. Then Ingram fumbled with just a few minutes left in the game. It was intense after that, but the game was in the bag til then.

Only counting games I attended. Both in 2009.

Most intense MOMENT was no doubt Rocky Block. As someone else posted, you just knew Bama was going to win, until...."wait a minute!" All that was running through my head was "We already blocked one, plus three straight National Champions had all had at least one loss. We can still win it all."

Most intense game was the Iron Bowl that year. Most of the second half I was sure I was going to EVERYWHERE. When McElroy hit Upchurch on the play action...I lost it. I picked up this friend of mine who had annoyed me the entire game (she was not that light either ) Complete reversal of emotions on that LONG drive.

LSU/AR 2007
Every time McFadden touched the ball I held my breath...
Made myself sick I yelled so much
I would also call this the worse loss I have ever attended...

As far as games I attended
A&M vs. OU 2000
A&M vs. OU 2002

Lost the 2000 and won the 2002. Both games were damn loud and exciting.

Gotta be v. FSU in '97. Come back win to snatch away a national title game appearance for the hated noles. Spurrier worked his magic to perfection that night with the 2-headed QB.

Oh, we beat them twice in '97. The first time wasn't nearly as intense as we won 52-20 in Nawlins.

frick FSU.

'85 Iron Bowl, I don't miss the game being played in B'ham but do miss the 50/50 split that created great atmosphere at all the Iron Bowls.

During Saban years....
'98 SEC Title game
