If only you could explain to the NYCAuburn, that sometimes your team gets lucky and admit that calls go your way every now and then things would be great. You don't have to believe the other team would have won regardless, just realize that not every ref in the world is against you... Unless you're UGA and the ref is Penn Wagers.

Yeah y'all got away with a couple there. I think they used those as prime examples to take back the yardage-after-play rule. Regardless sometimes you get lucky and pull out a win, sometimes you're on the losing end of that stick. It is what it is.
Auburn fans still cannot distinguish between luck and skill.

I will say that a lot of fans make a huge jump saying that one call ruined the game for them. In some cases, it did, but how many opportunities did the players miss? I hate bad calls as much as anyone else, but, and I'll take my team for example, even without those penalties, Vandy isn't necessarily out of the game. The UGA players made a lot more mistakes than the refs did in that game that let my Commodores win that game.
Obviously, the 4th down PI gave us a huge boost, so I won't say the calls didn't affect the game. I don't think they decided a game. Even late penalties like the LSU-Auburn game getting discussed so fervently, didn't "decide" the game. If players don't make mistakes or fail to perform up to that point, you aren't in that bad of a situation. But, to end this, frick refs. I have only met one ref that I like in all my time playing or watching sports.

Well said. The quality of the game at all levels was overshadowed by the field goal attempt return.
I continue to experience something akin to night sweats and denial of Bama's last minute drive against us. Good grief.
