As far as level of accomplishment on the field and level of criminality off it, Cannon is hard to beat, When you start off with the Heisman and end up in a federal prison, that's some impressive work right there.
Yeah, but it was a white collar crime, not exactly hardass status... He's now a dentist.

Never try to debate rules of grammar with an English major. Athlete is used as a modifier with both criminal and criminal event. In spite of your own grammatical skills, which are obviously lacking, this should have been obvious to you because of the fact that no one has posted random rapes and murders completely unrelated to athletics.

He went to TAMU. He played. Appeal denied.

Janzen Jackson from Tennessee! Wow! Good one.
The guy literally had Eric Berry level talent.
What a waste.

And they all conveniently forgot about Janzen the Strangler.
He was with the team for 1 1/2 seasons and was dismissed.
Jackson is certifiably insane, Hernandez is a cold blooded killer and is pure evil.

Oh yes. I was working in Starkville during the Final Four run. He came in the store a few times and was scary as hell. He had this evil look and vibe to him. I know he got kicked off the team and ended up, I think, at Auburn-Montgomery. I know he was in jail at some point because I remember looking him up on an inmate search.
Other fine upstanding MSU athlete citizens:
Don Smith- MSU QB who led the SEC in total offense in 1985 and 1986. Drafted by the Bucs in the 2nd round in 1987, he scored the first TD in the 1991 Super Bowl for the Bills vs the Giants. Was caught trying to buy an enormous chunk of cocaine a few years later and served many years in Florida which ended his NFL career.
Dontae Walker-biggest waste of talent ever. Huge RB recruit from Clinton who tore it up his Freshmen and Soph seasons in 99 and 00. Got fat and lazy, and eventually quit on Senior Day in 02. Went to jail on drug charges. He has gotten out, cleaned up, and earned a degree. However he weighs about 380 now.
Jeff Walker-All SEC punter from our 98 SEC West Champion team. Served time and is now a registered sex offender.
Edward "Pig" Prather- All SEC safety in the late 90's and early 00's. Played with both previous mentioned Walkers. Served many years for drugs.
