After reading the Aaron Hernandez topic earlier, I became curious about infamous athlete criminals or an athlete involved criminal event from each SEC school.

Here is one for Arkansas.

Janzen Jackson strangled someone and kept them in the trunk of his car.

That's up there IMO.

I know it wasn't murder but didn't Mark Pierce the fullback from the NUtt years get a lengthy jail sentence?

As far as level of accomplishment on the field and level of criminality off it, Cannon is hard to beat, When you start off with the Heisman and end up in a federal prison, that's some impressive work right there.

I think Sherman Williams has JJ beat. Didnt he do a long stint in prison for selling cocaine?

You can add former defensive back Dwayne Goodrich, defensive end/linebacker Leonard Little and wide receiver Donte Stallworth to the list of UT players charged with murder, homicide or manslaughter over the years...

I forgot about old Sherm. I think he did some serious time in federal prison....seems like I read where he turned himself around a while back...sure hope so.
