That year Billy Gillispie took us to the NIT and the team lost in the first round because they wanted to be done with life. I wasn't even mad. I just understood.

2008 Bama. Its the standard by which I have judged every UGA loss either before or since

2014 against Auburn. Ole Miss was still ranked #4 in the CFP poll at 7-1, and Treadwell broke his ankle and fumbled at the goal line. unbelievable game to watch.

2014 Alabama and/or Ole Miss. Win either one of those and State makes the playoffs.

21-0 And yet, I still don't come to the Rant and start shite threads about Bama, Saban or Bama fans............unlike Tuscaloosa or msgarrison who love to shite talk LSU.

21-0

Changed the way I watched football and how I let it impact me. Cussed and screamed the whole game. Got pretty damn drunk and embarrassing, like the many time before too. While sleeping later that night, my 4 month old woke up crying. While I rocked him back to sleep, I realized right then no football game will ever get me riled up like that again. I am much more chill and laugh off/shrug off losses immediately after the game.

Yep. Nothing will top that 2014 Rose Bowl National Championship.

That one hurts to think about and always will. We were destroying them 21-3 and let a fricking obvious fake punt get them back in the game.

Losing to Miss St 6-3 in 1980. Damn, it's been a while.

amen, brother.

I devoted my time, money and energy to bow hunting. I couldn't stomach CFB anymore.

I'm not as angry at the deer anymore and my interest in MSU football has returned, but I'll never be the same as I was before 2-3

2009 Iron Bowl.

If we’re focusing on the word “broken.”

Thought we were about to put a halt to Bama’s NC hopes and make a statement that the impending Bama dynasty was just a Gump dream.

That game messed me up.

Croom taught me there was more to life than just football in the fall. I just had to turn away to see it.

In all honesty, the loss in the 2008 SECCG really got to me. That season was so much fun and Bama had gone through all kinds of shite the previous few years that I was afraid we had blown an opportunity to win a NC. After that game, I really thought that it would be a while before we had another chance like that for a title.

Boy, was I wrong.
