Well I guarantee you no other SEC school has a campus like this:
UGA Costa Rica

About the difference between LSU and Alabama.
Alabama has a more consistent architectural aesthetic, though they do have some inconsistency, as can be expected. The architectural disparity on LSU's campus is more significant, for two reasons. The first is that Middleton Library ruins the aesthetic of the landscape architecture. The second reason is that the new buildings on campus, CEBA and Turead, don't make any attempt to fit into the main architectural aesthetic.
I'd argue that the natural scenery on LSU's campus is better than Alabama's because of the lakes and old oaks. Alabama does look quite lovely in springtime though.
Both schools have pretty bad unions in my opinion, and the fountain in front of the Ferguson Center is quite pointless in my view.

Well, it actually looks pretty cool when it's on, but it was such a waste of $100,000. They only turn it on when they're having big student recruitment days on campus, and it's broken all the time.

It would alright if they had a basin where you could sit. Most times I saw it I felt like it was a gigantic waste. What I liked about LSU's quad was that it was inclusive, so people were drawn into it. Bama's quad moves outward, drawing people to its periphery.

Ole Miss has some buildings (mostly built in the 1970's that look out of place) The building codes were changed in the 1980's that mandates every new building must have columns. (this has helped)

1. LSU
...the rest
Seriously, who doesn't get tired of looking at just another generic red-brick southern campus?
LSU's northern italian architecture is one of only two examples in the country. The other one is Stanford.
Add in the Mississippi River, the golf course, the campus lakes, and the million dollar homes surrounding the campus, and it's a slam dunk win for LSU.
Even if you don't agree LSU's is the 'most beautiful', you'd objectively have to agree it's the 'most unique'.
BTW, this is a rehash of last year's thread on this same subject:
Prettiest campus in the SEC

What point would you be making by saying UGA barely beats out Tech and State? That you haven't seen any of those three campuses recently?

But she is nowhere close to hot.

Yes, nothing says "beautiful" like the dirtiest river in the country.
The chemical factory really adds a...erm...corndog-ish smell to the atmosphere, too. I guess that's nice.

This is an off season topic.
Ole Miss has been in the off season for a month and a half, so it makes sense...

The prettiest view on any SEC campus, by far, is the southen exposure off Arkansas' campus into the Boston Mountains of the Ozarks.
The second prettiest view on any SEC campus is the easten exposure off Arkansas' campus to Mt. Sequoyah and Dickson Street.

again , it's about the buildings not the surroundings... you still have plain old boring buildings.
We have a clock tower with IIII all the way around instead of IV
because there was a Roman god that's name started with IV so they never liked to use that for the number 4
little history for you right there![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconPimp.gif)

Too bad the campus sucks.

That's fine, I'll give you credit for re-stating your comment about UGA, Tech and State in the form of a decent analogy, but I'm still curious as to whether or not you've visited any of those three campuses within the last year. No rush, just wondering
